UPDATE: It was a hoax. Someone photoshopped it and claimed he just deleted it. Never trust anyone.
It’s a good thing voice actors can’t keep their mouths shut. Steve Blum, voice actor behind pretty much everything, has posted on his Twitter claiming that he just started voicing King “for a new Final Fantasy”. This could be the first confirmation that Final Fantasy Type-0 will be receiving an international release. He has since deleted the Tweet in an attempt to cover it up but it’s far too late now.
The only thing left is Square Enix to announce their plans which should hopefully happen soon.
Ali Hillis has confirmed today via Facebook that she has finished recording all of her dialogue for Final Fantasy XIII-2.
As we all know, Ali Hillis voices Lightning, one of the main characters of the Final Fantasy XIII series. I can only imagine that if all of her lines are done already, the game is right on schedule for its January 2012 release date.
Thanks to forum member totlmstr for pointing this out.

Georgia van Cuylenburg, the voice actress behind Vanille, has let slip that she’ll be reprising her role in Final Fantasy XIII-2. During a Twitter exchange, she confirms she’s working on the project despite her characters unfortunate crystallization at the end of the first game. She’s tight lipped about how she appears but calls it a “very different experience”. Whether she’s appears through flashbacks, alternate worlds or otherwise is still unclear. See the exchange below.

Thanks to Ethan for spotting this.

A new Final Fantasy Type-0 book has been announced by Square Enix today and is planned for release on September 29th. The World Preview Official Guidebook is a 144 page preview of Type-0, including bios for each of the main characters and interviews with 14 of the games voice actors, as well as 70 pages of details on the less important characters and the world the game is based in. The 14 voice actors being interviewed will be chosen in the near future. Explanations of the battle system and notes from the developers will also be included to provide hints for the player when the game comes out the next month.
All in all, this glorified art book will be available for ¥840 and will include a B3 poster with the chance for people pre-ordering, winning a version signed by the 14 voice actors. It’s available for pre-order on Square Enix’s e-STORE now.
