Ready for your yearly dose of Versus news? Tetsuya Nomura pops up in an interview in the recently released Final Fantasy Type-0 Ultimania. In it, he says that the design for Moogles in Final Fantasy Versus XIII will be close to what we’ve seen in Type-0. There you have it. Announcement of Moogles in Versus. Not exactly world stopping. He doesn’t go into any more detail of how the adorable creatures fit into the much darker world. Maybe they’ll all be dying.

Earlier this week, it was revealed that Final Fantasy Type-0 would be to North America and Europe by an interview Spanish site Vandal had with Kitase. Everyone rejoiced over the fact that the game would finally be coming to our coasts, but then doubt was thrown into the equation when the site removed the paragraph pertaining to the international release.
Thankfully, Type-0′s Ultimania has been released with an interview confirming that Tabata and the team are working hard on the overseas version of the game. It comes with more good news though. Tabata also says he’d like to do a direct sequel to the game (Type-1 as he unsurprisingly calls it) featuring the same characters and world. He even says he’d like to put it on consoles rather than a handheld. It makes sense considering the amount of effort they’ve put into the first, but he said it does depend on player reaction to the first, so buy, buy, buy, if you want more.
