Well go to your local video game store and ask them.
Because everyone knows tofu comes from Unicorns...

Eh most video game stores workers can't be trusted. Software emulation might not be as easy as we think it'll be. Even with the PS3s that run PS2 games with emulation I think they still had some PS2 parts in them. The model with hardware emulation had almost another PS2 in it.

It had the EE and they removed it from later models. Well, I hope that Sega's plans and PS2 Titles on PSN will happen..

Enough about that though. Dual Layer it is!

They could bring backward compatibility by emulating the EE in software mode (via the Cell of course)

And that's the only official information at the moment, no "when" or even "if"...it's just there as a possibility.

It's not THAT big. "Only" 38804 MB ~ 38GB.

I'm pretty sure the X360 release will have 4 discs. 5 is a possibility too if they do very little compression.

Default something may have been overlooked

hi ,

i was just reading everybodys comments regarding this issue and i was thinking a little bit farther. these next few months may give square enix to make the american version better because they will now get some reported problems if any from japan consumers, which in the end will make our version that much better. i am really hyped that the ps3 version will run much better overall.

i like sony, i used to own xbox bot the bot broke down, unacceptable.

the amerivan version will be 99% flawless!

mikey sigining out

I'm not really that bothered but it would be interesting to see a screenshot showing the disc image size in GBs. I presume someone would just need to plonk it in a PC blu-ray drive, unless the discs use nasty protection.

Also I saw lots of bullshittery in this topic and it made me lol.
