Lovely! The flan looks partially melted there, more earlier FF in style than the Vegetapuddings. Very much looking forward to Nautilus Park.

Sick.Best RPG of 2010? just from all the info we r getting its promising but there are sure to be some dark horses heading our way.

Good games are always good. Just wanting FF to be successful is bad.

From that screenshot of the party w/Alexander in front of them, is it safe to assume that Hope won't get his summon until later on in the game, as evidenced by the sight of Fang (who's the last to join apparently) in said screenshot?

These landscapes are breathtaking; all in HD glory. Some of the sceneries remind me of Fern Gully.

Yes, it is said Fang will appear somewhat towards the end of the game.

What the hell is it with Square and Capri pants on NPCs? It started with Final Fantasy X, and they've been obsessed with them ever since! Seriously, what is so great about them? They look kinda dinky...

The return of those elemental things that showed up when it rained in FXII would be my guess.

Actually it's a doohicky which controls the weather in the Sanles region of Cocoon.

The ball thing is the weather globe, as mentioned in Hope's chapters. I think it was in the last lot of magazine scans that stronger fiends appear when it's raining and/or nighttime. I thought they might have acted like the save spheres in FFX but apparently they aren't found everywhere

Anyway, the scenery is absolutely gorgeous. Square seems to always amaze me. Even though Uncharted has great graphics, I would prefer this any day.
