Doesn't the english VA for Serah sound like...

Is it just me, or does Serah's voice actress sound a lot like Laura Bailey? I kept playing the trailer over & over and started to notice it. For those of you not familiar with her work:

Laura is an experienced voice actress; she tends to have different voice ranges, so I could be wrong. If someone has previoulsy pointed it out in prior threads, forgive me. Otherwise, tell me what you think. Am I right, or am I just out of my mind?

I know someone mentioned it sounded like her in the trailer thread. Then again, it could've been you.

Cloud of Darkness was one of the few bearable voices in Dissidia, so if Serah is voiced by her then we don't have much to worry about her.

Serah's voice sort of reminded me of Kari Wahlgren in the first scene? but I can see her being voiced by Laura Bailey more actually.

I guess we'll find out whenever they "officially" announce the voice cast...although I don't understand why they don't just do it already! lol.

Cause if they do, top secret information about the story might be revealed. The voice actors will be approached by the crazy fans, asking them stuff about the game and it will be all over the internet.

That's the only reason I can think of.

Serah is voiced by Minako Kotobuki in Japanese and Laura Bailey in the English dub.

I know some people may think Wiki isn't a good source but Serah's voice does sound familiar to some of the games I've played, so I believe it is true.

Hah, I think the character is plenty mature for the voice considering she's going to marry a big white hulk. LOL

I think Serah's voice sounds too mature for her physiognomy. She has a round, baby shaped face.
