I think it shows how much the series has sort of taken a new transition and now seeks to evolve the way relationships are handled. You now see all these characters with wives, and children going out of their way to salvage something or someone.
Some people seemed to think that Sazh's focus was to kill Vanille, based on the scenes from the trailer where Sazh and Vanille are in some grassy field, and Sazh says something about their focus will wind up with them all dead, and Vanille looks nervous or something.
Wonder if that's the same scene but extended with him pointing his gun at her?
Maybe her heavy burden has to do something with betrayal but only because that's her focus. Like she has to get Serah or maybe Sazh's son captured so she has to lure them into a trap?
I dunno. I just know that we know more about the other characters then we do Vanille. There isn't much on her it seems.

Vanille's "heavy burden" has to do with betrayal but only because that is her focus. And by betrayal, she has to set up a trap to get Sazh's son or even Serah captured. So maybe that's how they get his son?
Maybe Jihl has the ability to set one's focus and so she messes around with Vanille and Sazh. Vanille has to get Sazh's son captured and when this is revealed to Sazh, Jihl sets his focus up to kill Vanille so that way Sazh can get revenge. Which explains the gun pointing scene. But he struggles because he knows it's not her fault but at the same time, he possibly loses his son and it makes him mad.

I'm surprised nobody has touched on the historical implications of this release date. Some twenty-two years ago, a video game company created its swan song on the backs of a ragtag group of developers and released it on December 18, 1987. Those men in their minor mission ended up as perhaps Japans most consequential developers, and twenty two years later, on the eve of that day, a monument of their efforts will again be epitomized. Um....is that the same girl with the ponytail. Or are there just tons of women in this game. She does look like Lightning though. However Lightning still looks way more kick ass. She looks annoying, someone that's going to constantly be in the story, even though you rarely see her.
So much stuff today, Snow's engaged to her, they kiss, he's half naked at one point, she's Lightnings sister.
Lighting changed her name for a ridiculously stupid reason. Hope calls Lightning Light-san (kinda cute actually)

I can't tell what the song is like after just hearing the chorus part of the song. A song like this needs the intro, melody, second melody and bridge in order to get the emotions across. Good use of the Piano in Octaves there is a lot brass in this.
Fast tempo for a Ballad. Must have a jpop arrangement some where.

Well she sure looks like Lightning, and turns out her hair isnt silver blond, must have been the lighting in the original image. She is very cute, and its nice to see more use of the high rez models, looks great
