Today a photo of a Japanese newspaper containing a full page advertisement of the Square-Enix Party taking place on May 12th - 13th has been released to us via FF7AC Reunion.
The page is based on the 20th anniversary of the series taking place this year and contains each Final Fantasy title that is yet to be released. What makes the page relevant to us is the writing at the bottom of the page which says:
The evolution will never stop, the series continues [... ] and then Final Fantasy that nobody knows will enter in scene.
It's an online translation from Jeux-France but what it says is pretty clear. A new game could be announced at this years party which Square-Enix has told us will contain a lot of surprises for us. It could be another title in the Fabula Nova Crystallis compilation, a completly new FF game or yet another spinoff but it looks like we'll just have to wait until May to find out.
Final Fantasy Wii or Xbox? I dont think its another ps3 game since is allready two in the making.
My best guess is the next MMO for FF. But im also sure im wrong.

well considering they said "many surprises" they shuld announce an all new Title, or another Fabula Nova Crystallis game for an seamingly unlikely system....anything else wouldnt be too surprising
oo i just seen it says Final Fantasy no one knows about?? hmm could be interesting..
I really hope its an FF7 remake, but I doubt that that will happen because it says a game no one knows about
What I'm hopin is an FF agme with all the characters of the series in it. That would be baller.
Hehe. I always thought that would be cool in the form of a versus fighting game like Super Smash Bros. Imagine playing as Cloud jumping all over the place while fighting Vincent Valentine. Especially if it had similar mechanics like the near perfect controls in Super Smash Bros, some awesome graphics and sound effects, as well as a big selection of different and unique characters to choose from, a videogame like this would = pwnifies everything else.

Perhaps this new game could be the mysterious Final Fantasy Haeresis XIII?
Or perhaps they're going to announce Final Fantasy XIV? Remember that Final Fantasy's XI and XII were announced before the release of FFX back in 1999/2000.
Or, looking at it in another way, it's possible that this new title may not necessarily be a game project - it could be a new film or TV show or something.
how about something NOT Final Fantasy because i think we allready have enough of that to look forward to..And we probably wont see FF14 for a long time

Actually it was FFXI and X were annouced before IX's release.
