FF trend = Final Boss must be some kind of Archangel
Folks, I believe it's not possible for the military lady / "Bewbzilla" to be the final villain of the game. She'll probably be a "minor nuisance" character who just harasses you on occasion, in the similar vein of Seymour, Beatrix, the Turks, or Judge Ghis. I guess she's someone whom you'll fight on at least one occassion, possibly multiple times if her character is inspired by Beatrix.
Why can't she be the main villain, you ask? In most Final Fantasy games thus far, the Final Boss has inevitably been some kind of archangel / demigod with wings, essentially a gigantic monstrosity. And the final boss forms aren't pretty either. They're FUBAR. They may not have started out that way, but even if they were human once, they eventually become a giant, flying, god-like monster with wings. Can you imagine military lady becoming all steroids buff and oogly with wings? Probably not. If she had angel wings, yes, but if she became like Ultimecia? Hell no.
The only true human-form final boss was Shuyin (FFX-2), but I should take cover for mentioning that because haters are going to come in here and tell me that X-2 wasn't even a real FF game.
But anyhoo, let's compare the trend in main series FF games:
FF3: Cloud of Darkness = possible the beginning of the archangel with bewbs trend
FF4: Zeromus - a F.U.B.A.R. alien monster thing...
FF5: Neo'Ex'Death - WTF F.U.B.A.R. mass orgy of...crucified people-things...
FF6: Kefka = a godlike archangel, with wings
FF7: Safer Sephiroth = a one-winged angel preparing to become a god
FF8: The final Ultimecia = definitely had wings and an archangel thing going
FF9: Necron = had wings and resembled an archangel, or perhaps a death angel
FFX: Yu Yevon = shriveled little squid thing, but definitely a monster (theory goes he started out human, but spent 1000 years summoning so just shriveled up into a squid).
FFXII: The Undying = Vayne fused with Venat, with pieces of the Bahamut fused onto his body. Also had wings.
The Final Boss in every FF must satisfy some traditional requirements:
1. Has multiple phases or forms. May start out human at first (Ultimecia, Vayne) 2. They must have wings.
Therefore, I submit that it's very unlikely that Bewbzilla is a copy of Vayne. You probably won't fight her on an airship where she transforms into the Incredible She-Hulk (a la Vayne Novus), and she probably isn't some kind of sorceress like Ultimecia who can absorb magic and become a scary, FUBAR goddess creature with wings.
And that other military guy in the trailer looks too retarded to be the final villain of the game. I'm expecting something totally new and unexpected, but it will probably have wings and be like a mad god/dess, given Square's predictability and trend in designing final bosses.
And my god, how much free time do you have? This is like, the second WALL of text speculation today. I feel sorry for your friends if you talk about this.
As for the actual topic of the thread, who knows, I don't care. The last boss usually is horrendously easy anyway.
I really like how you analyze the series. LOL. A critical analysis of the series's final boss trend. You write a lot in your thread, huh? Anyway, very nice work, indeed. I give you an A for this.
Also, I always kinda thought maybe Bewbzilla could join the main party in the middle of the game or something. It would be cool to control her and using her attack skills and stuff. Then she can then go all bad again and try to destroy Lightning..... NAH. She is too hot to be a villain, she should just defect the enemy party.

Yeah, this poster does remind me of someone with a pink red Lightning avatar (I believe he was called FF13xFanatic) who always posted long threads without any meaning and pure speculation. I haven't seen him around lately, so I guess that he thought his atb bar filled up to slow, and he left like a lot of other goblins
Wait, wait. I think you missed something. Lemme go quote the OP...

That seems to be the man you speak of! Way to make yourself look like an ass mercy.
By the way fanatic, keep doing what you do. You actually make speculation & analysis interesting once again.

Now tell me.
How would you feel if one of Final Fantasy final boss was a small little sheep?
"Oh crap, 60 hours of my life spent to face the terrible sheep of nutcracking!"
Wouldn't that be interesting?

I have bad feeling about silver hair guy of the military in the trailer.
I think he will cause a lot of troubles for lightning, We have to wait maybe we will see another characters in the future.

You just want to be able to move the camera around so you can stare at her boobs.

I think sazh should be the last boss with disco music playing and of course the secondary final boss (like those weird spike things Ultimecia-Griever summons) should be a disco ball!
Wow, I just love the depth of analysis of your ideas about Final Fantasy XIII. It really makes me ponder!
I love your attention to detail.
Great avatar, btw.

Reason: double post, not a good start

To be honest, I really meant what I said. But your assumption is not a bad idea at all! I'll take it! I don't mind looking at such final fantasy perfection, anyway.
