That's what we have on KH3 so far. Nomura says we are going to have a new KH game and it will be announced in mid 2007. That doesn't mean its KH3 though. It could be another portable game like Chain of Memories.
Also like Cathryn says the Versus interview does confirm there will definatly be a KH3 at some point but no clue towards the date. There is also supposed to be a Kingdom Hearts announcement during the summer
I thought COM on the GBA wasn't a bad game, but i thank god for KH2: FM, is it going to be sold in europe and america? or is it just japan.
From what i know its just japan, even though the game is english with japanese subs.
Its going to be made, yeah since nomura said he wants to start it after Versus, but its not official. I doubt they even have the concept yet.
Yeah it isn't officially confirmed, just mentioned in an interview. They probably do have some sort of concept just based off the ending of KH2 but they definatly have nothing developed yet, probably not even any sketches.
The way SE has FF I wouldnt say KH is going to be a trilogy. More than likely the series will continue even after the 3rd story.

I think you're right, Wind. As long as the series keeps generating a lot of money for the company, they're going to continue making the games for as long as possible.
It seems laughable now that Final Fantasy was supposed to be a one-off title!
Its not just about milking the material dry. The fans always want to see something continue for the story to truly progress. Even if it was meant to be a 1 game only bid.
The developers too love doing their job to make video games. Having the opportunity to continue a certain project makes both sides happy.
Case in point FF7 or Zelda.

Hey, I wasn't trying to diss KH, FF, lol or even Mario for that matter. I ws just stating that of course companies like to make money off more games. But to your point of course they love making them too, they got into it for a reason.
The dude said they can't resist milking KH dry, and I hope they do. I absolutely LOVE the series so far, and would love for them to keep the series going.
