Zidane's Voice

If you didnt realize it...Zidane to several people..look like Edward Elric from fullmetal alchemist..also they act the same..plus in dissidia.Zidane is voiced by the man who does the japanese voice for Edward..So in your opinion..could The english Voice actor for Edward Elric..Suit the Zidane we all know and picture if they were to remake ff9?

You make it sound like FFIX will be remade soon. Why not wait for the English version of Dissidia? I don't see him similar to Ed.

I don't think they look alike in personality but he can do the english voice, would be fun to hear something familiar.

I've never seen it, so I wouldn't know if they're similar or not. But I have heard loads of people going on about it having a really good dub, so why not. I wonder what kind of voice they'll give him, didn't sound like his voice had broken in the Japanese version.

God i swear, if they were to ever remake IX I'd die a little inside if they used primarily American voice acting. Medievil atmosphere does NOT work with American voices, it's just tacky ;; That said, I wouldn't mind too much if Zidane spoke like that, for some reason.

How can a voice look like something?

I think "sounds like" is what you are looking for.

Anyway, better to wait until the English version of Dissidia is out to see how Zidane's voice sounds like.

I think Zidane's voice fits him perfectly.

And Romi Paku is an AMAZING seiyuu, I must add. I love her =D

I just hope they don't get Vic Mignogna as Zidane in the English dub... I mean, I do really like his voice work (another amazing VA) But, it just doesn't fit him.

In FF Dissida his voice sounds horrible, I think they are going use a girly voice like that in the English version too. But seriously Zidane is not Edward Elric imo, though they act a little bit the same way.

but come on! Edward and Zidane do look similiar in some way
the hair..height also their personalities
also ugh..yesh but again..Zidane in japanese..had the voice of the japanese edward elric..i was greatly disappointed in hearing zidane's voice..
i hope and they better now..make zidane sound like a girl in the english version

I find it funny that Amano was the original character designer for IX. Then Toshiyuki Itahana came along.

wait they changed the designers? i read somewhere that Toshiyuki just made some final touches but Zidane was barely changed cause the original creator said not to
