OKAY so i found this picture of what looks like rinoa in some crazy outfit and had in the bottom FFVIII-2.

this got me thinking, hey what if they did make a second one.
what do you think the story would be about and also speculation on the picture itself like the qualtiy of graphics, the logo design, etc
would u freak out like i would and scavenge the internet for more info?

It IS four years old, and it's obviously fake/fan-made from the minute you look at it.

Anyone that believed it was an idiot. I would love a VIII remake, though.

This reminds me though. I have a magazine that I got from Blockbuster like over 7-8 years ago still, that actually mentions a possibly FF8 Sequel. Lol. Just remembered.

Doubt it will come but if it does, you got my money Square!

i thought 8 was ok but im into just about all ff's except for 10-2 and i even played that all the way i thought 8 being redone nowadays would be great if they tweaked some of the issues that plagued the original would look kinda sweet with this gen graphics i would play but id play just about anything ff

i wouldve loved it if the ffiv remake wasnt moved from ps2 to ds wouldve been that much better on a dying system one last great rpg ahhh oh well.

FF X-2 Was A Waste Of My Money, Battle System Was Good Though. If They DID Make An Remake I'd Like It On Like PS2 Or 3.

I saw that image like 4 years ago, lol. Probably less, but the image is old as hell and obviously fake. Man I wish it was real, though.

The face of the girl doesn't look like Rinoa at all. Also, there is something unfinalfantasy-like about the logo; I think it has something to do with the design and color of the angel. The girl appears to be using a sword rather than Rinoa's signature weapon. Rinoa has good taste in clothes, but she would never dress that skimpy

I think this image is fake, but ever since Yuna's personality and fashion sense flip 180 degrees, the improbable has become quite probable. I think it'd be cool for FF VIII to have a sequel - I just hope that if it does happen, it'll turn out better than FF X-2 did (maybe have a interesting plot for starters

).

ffviii was one of my faves, i love the characters and the story

the thread that was linked earlier was for a different picture i think if you look on the 2nd or 3rd page and i didnt get it from their anyways

While its been established that the pic is a fake, I seriously don't think VIII needs a sequel. It had a pretty neat start and finish, plotholes were filled and the main character had a definitive development which was one of the main aspects of the game, so what could they possibly elaborate more?

Actually. Now that I think about it, so did Cloud. That didn't stop Nomura from retconning the poor sod and stripping away his multiple character aspects though!
