Hey all, well first of all I'd like to link you to this random little test thing, and for those of you who want to do it, it'd be cool if you posted your results back here.
Basically, this link has a test which says which side of your brain you use the most, and personally, I found it pretty accurate with what it said.
Then, my next point in this topic is to try to find out what you all think may be the cause of different people using different sides of their brain.
It's a really hard question, as there's possibly no direct answer, or "right" answer, but maybe just theories.
Basically, I can't decide if it's hereditory (as in passed down through generations), if you're born like it, or if different things in life can change and decide which side of your brain you actually use.
It could be any of these, as it could be down to your genetic make-up (so to speak.........not lip gloss, eye shadow and mascara ), but then again, people learn differently, so maybe education could even change which side of your brain you think with.
Apologies if this is rather a random topic, but it was just something I thought about whilst on the shoutbox with Koronzen, and it'd be interesting to know your opinions on the matter.
Haha, same. I'm very artistic. Need to get back into it to be honest.
Off topic: Tis quite sad really, but I drew an awesome picture of Jack Skellington with full shading. It took me 4 hours to do, and I couldn't sleep, so I gave it to a girl who I was "seeing" at the time, so not official, however that works (which is stupid), and she left me for someone else, so I haven't drawn since then. :/
Clockwise, and it's really annoying me. It won't turn the other way and it's REALLY pissing me off, just turn you shit. I can't look anymore.
Yep, definetely agree with rightbrained, but I wouldn't call my self very religious.
As for your question, all three. With this sort of thing - well, most things actually - it's never one single factor affecting you. Some might be more dominant for different people, though. You could say it depends on how impressionable you are. Well, it's probably more complicated, but it's 20 to 3 in the morning and I can't be arsed to think.
Saw this earlier, probably somewhere on here. I can't remember which direction I saw it going then but I could not change it. This time I saw it going clockwise, and then suddenly it switched for a few seconds! YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS I AM THE CHAMPION.
Anyway, I would've said I was more left-brained. Right-handed = left-brained, don't it? Plus them charararacteristics things.
Actually Clockwise is "Left Brain". And Anti-clockwise is "Right Brain".
Because Left Brain uses logic and reality based.
And people who use right hand to write indicates that they use Left side of Brain.
But people who use left hand to write indicates that they use Right side of Brain.
-Almost every people use right hand to write.-
Besides, this doesn't mean that if you use left brain , so you're smart. Absolutely NO.
Hi-tech invention or any innovation have to use imagination (creativity) and combined with calculation and logic.
Like Albert Einstein said , "imagination is more important than knowledge".
Some people who lack of right brain skill and use only left brain can be stupid. And they can't achieve their projects or goals because they are work-to-rule and dull-witted. Because they lack of intuition which is the Right Brain's skill.
The wiered thing is that it was going clockwise at first but i sarted to read then i went the other way, so i dont think it that accurate as it only tells u what side of the brain ur useing while ur looking at it and not what side of the brain u use the most in ur day to day lives.
To change it at will, just wait for the outstretched leg to pass infront/behind of the idle leg and just swap between which you see as the closer leg and that'll swap which direction it rotates. Hard to explain
yeh man, if you watch it go anti-clockwise, and look closely, you'll actually see there's a missing part in the sequence when the outstretched angled leg completes a full rotation and reaches the right. And if you watch it go clockwise, you'll see the same thing happen just after you see her nipples for the second time in the rotation.
It is fake. It switches between the two automatically, not by your brain
It's not fake, it's an illusion, duh...
We had this in class with a few 100 students and you had to raise your hand when you could make it turn and it was diffrent for everyone
