I don't think there is a need for a remake. The gamewas perfect just like it was. It already had 3D graphics. You couldn't make much more. What would they make a remake for? they remade valkyrie profile lenneth for psp (currently playing) and it's pretty good yet it is basically the same and maybe enix thought it was like a warmup for the upcoming ds title. As far as I know, there isn't any plans for a LOD 2 briefly so I think a remake would be pretty useless right now.

It could be possible. sony said they are goin to announce 5 exclusive rpg's for the ps3 in the nxt copule months. i heard 2 were announced but i dont if it was true. rumors are that 3 of them are LoD2, Dark Cloud 3, and Jak 4
Yeah the games was amazing. although i think they should still re-make it. If they do they will possibly make a newer version or they will make a sequel. I think the game was great as it is so i would have to go with the Re-make...

I'd like to see this game remade since I never played the original. I've heard good things about it and am a lot more likely to play it if it's re-released.
I remember playing this game, it come out around the same time as Final Fantasy VIII did. It always surprised me how LOD could have voice acting in their game and Square still had yet to bother with that. I also remember reading a review for LOD in a magazine. The first sentence of the review was: "If imitation is the sincirest form of flattery, then Squaresoft must be blushing like a virgin bride on her wedding night" lol
