Okay, when I was writing my major battle screen analysis I found these images on the site that no one has even commented on yet.... look, Lightning is glowing...
And am I crazy to think that this major glowing thing below is her aswell. Or could it be a crystal. Also are they trees in the background? This might be how she gets into the protected bit of the city?
Any ideas?

the glowing aura around her in the first pic is the item that grants her the ability to levitate and manipulate gravity..the second pic i dont know what it is, maybe a crystal, magic spell something i dont know
You can clearly see it in the E3 trailer. One of the speculations is, is that the world below is trying to reach Cocoon. Lightning is chosen by the crystals

The crystals give her the power the power to control gravity and has a lightning aura around herself (which is probably why her codename is lightning)
Jump Festa reveal alot of stuff about the game. not all of it is true. I don't really rely on that stuff. More what the dev team say in interviews. Toriyama talks alot about the game. For example, the gravity effect in the game (when she stans on ceilings and kicks arse) is called "Gravity-Bomb" and is based around the electrical field she has around here. Which means it isn't something she has equipped, its her own personal ability to defy gravity and such. The slowing down of time we see is called "Overclock" and can be used when a gauge to the top right corner of the screen.
How summons are going to be used in the game sounds awesome as well.

Yes the second picture is of that trailer. She threw down the ice grenade before she lands to knockback the soldiers and help her land(makes no sense i know) like the spirits within Jello.
How did this topic get anymore replies? I have no idea.
Yeah i know. But not everyone knows that and people aren't going to know if it isn't answered. The thread continued on a bit cos a conversation started. Some people just don't research at all. I didn't research one bit for FFXII. But i love how FFXIII is looking so i am researching it.

The opening poster question was answered two months ago though.
I asked 3 questions, 2 of which have been answered.... i also asked if anybody thought they were trees in the background of the second picture. At the time it was new to me, and I dont see the need in posting such a negative comment about a thread such as ''I dont see how this thread got anymore replies. I just dont know'' < Stupid to post if you ask me and also ignorant. I apologise for not knowing everything that you know, but hell thats me.
After looking at the tgs trailer again I see that they are actually part of the structure of the building and not trees. However I did think that I would ask.

That is pretty silly. No one replied because Cocoon was too far up to jump out of a tree. spaceship, bigger building? Maybe but no trees that high.

I replied just fine since my post consisted of information answering anothers question. I also believe you mean arrogant not ignorant.
She's one with the crystal. She was chosen by it to like destroy the world or something!? She can control gravity and dosen't remanber her name beause she lost memory when it chosen her!!??
