Okay, I have done some major analysis of the logo's of the whole Fabula Nova Crystallis compilation so far, I would really like some feedback on the ideas I have come up with.
First of all, I will start with Final Fantasy XIII.
Here is the logo in all its glory to begin with.
I have basically disected the logo and made my ideas from there.
First of all, this in my oppinion is lightning, if you look at the neck area, her jacket matches the outline of her costume design, the strands of hair and stuff sort of match too, so I am assuming it is her.
Then theres this guy...
I dont think this is the blonde haired character we have seen recently, as if you look at the picture above, the fringe is pointed upwards, and is really stuck out. I think this might be another character possibly, and also it looks a bit feminine? Possibly a female character?
I found something very interesting when I disected this next bit of the logo.... it looks like some sort of horse... or a unicorn.
It may even be a summon, but you can definety see it is a horse shaped creature.... if there is such a thing haha.
Aswell as that in the logo you can see that the possible female character other than lightning is riding the actual 'horse'. I have cut out the shape below...
If you look just above the X from XIII you can see a foot, and then in the bottom right hand side of the image you can see a hand, this in my oppinion means that they are riding the 'horse' thing. But it could be a unicorn thing.
At first I THOUGHT that the cape from the girl riding the 'horse' was a wing, and I was going to suggest that the characters were being protrayed as god like, almost like hercules riding pegasus. But it was just a theory.
More to come in the other threads, please leave comments on this I would love to hear what everyone else is thinking, because I am buzzing with ideas.

i speculate that the people in the logo simbolize shiva as a trojan horse...(hence how it seems to go from one to another to a horse like being)
shive does turn into a motorcicle..anyway, hard to tell anything when we know so little about the game..but the past logo's were much easier to disect, thats for shure
Your right that she could be riding the horse, Never seen the shape of the body before.

behind this woman is a moon, enveloping her head like a halo, with light beaming out, furtherly telling that it is night
Attachment 34
looking here, we see her knee sticking out from beneath the cloathing. below where her foot would be, wee see a triangular, ring-like object, similar to what Shiva in FFX had in her hair, suggesting that this might be Shiva sleeping here.
Attachment 35
al last, we see this dragon-like thingie, here rotated to see it more easily
I'm trying to think of some more of what the logo could represent because they are clearly thinking along the lines of latin... so could it be something in latin ancient culture or something? I will research and be back lol

I think the 'horse thing' could be a new version of the summon Leviathan. Or possibly Ixion from FFX.
The two characters and the 'horse' appear to be circling some kind of round 'thing', perhaps a globe representing the world of FFXIII? I like Josh's idea that the two characters are portrayed as god-like - wasn't Lightning chosen by the crystal (which I assume is a God like entity) to be the one to destroy the world? Could the globe be Pulse? Or Cocoon?
Maybe the other character is an enemy, perhaps from the same origin as Lightning. It could be that the image depicts the battle between the two characters, with the horse representing some kind of elemental power shared between them, and the globe indicating that the conflict will decide the fate of the world.
Well, those are my thoughts anyway. If I come up with any other theories I'll post them here.
I assumed for the XIII logo that there was a change in character. Which is why it went from person, to perhaps hybrid or realization. Then the horse would mean true direction.
My reason for this is its in a circle and descending. If you look again it appears like a timeline. Like that spike or horn would represent the end or end result of something.
Also my reason for saying the girl goes to the horse is because if you look at the middle person, the hair has "grown" in the same pattern as the horse.
But thats my 2 cents.

I see what u mean wind... could it be something pointing towards lightnings past do you think? The spike could just be a representation of lightning herself and that transformed or descended from this horselike creature into the character that appears like a queen to the normal pesrson at the top....???
Anybody else agree... just go anti clockwise...

Many people have come to the conclusion that this is possibly Lighting herself,, yet it could possibly be something other than a character.
After looking (staring intentivly for 2 hours) i've made my own conclusion that its is a personification of the flying world known as Cocoon.
Dispite the fact it has characteristics that could point it towards a character, i would beg to differ.
The head of Cocoon could represent the ship/flying world itself, with having the hair flow backwards, it could say the head is moving or flowing in the wind, and with it over a circle in the logo which could be said to be turning, it could mean Cocoon is falling, as said in an interview that Cocoon is increasing falling into the world of Pulse and is frequently under more attack of Pulses inhabitants. This is just a summary, whether or not it is true, but these are my strong opinions on the logo itself.
A possible personification of Pulse.
Itself, being below Cocoon could be a representation of the world.
I recently noticed that this odd figure on the side of the head of 'Pulse' could possibly be Pulses City itself, it doesn't seem to fit to the hair very well in my opinion so i could safely say its Pulses city perched on the side of its head.
Im not entirly sure what the horse could represent yet, i haven't really came to any conclusion on what it represents or means so im going to have to leave it out of aynalasis.
This is where i feel Lighting herself comes into the logo, this could be a representation of her in lighting form.
At the top of the figure it seems it has also been personified in some way, with charaterists such as the hair of the figure seems to relate to Lightings herself, even though the figure of Lighting has no physical features apart from a lighting strike and a possible feature, i could say this is possibly a representation of Lighting.
Josh - I like your thinking about the FFXIII logo but do you have any theories about the Fabula Nova Crystallis logo?
I think it could be possible that the figure depicted in the logo could be some kind of personification of the crystal itself - perhaps this new 'crystal' is actually more of a god-like being rather than an object?
Even if my assumption is incorrect, I assume the character must have some kind of overall importance to all the FNC games, otherwise why would it be in the logo? Considering that the games are each supposed to be set in different worlds, could this character somehow appear in each game?
Some of my thoughts seemed farfetched, but i think the story is more than the characters itself, well its pretty much based around the crystals mythologly really, so its more based on the world itself, this is how i found a conclusion rather than making asumptions that every person in the logo is a character.
From what I see all the 4 logos feature some sort of crystal and since they have the ability to think and create they have been shown as human.
XIII - There are separate crystals in Pulse and Cocoon so these characters might be the crystals. Then again it's the only one missing the blue globe.
Agito - the crystal brakes into 2 pieces.
Versus - the world is in slumber.
And also FNC - a very clear personification.
So if FF13 logo horse like creature is indeed an unicorn then this would be the second time throughout the FF series we see one appear, this time with a bigger role due its logo appeareance.
I'm pretty sure the horse like creature must be an Unicorn and not a horse... horses are banned in FF beacuse there are already chocobos that work as horses,,, (the only horse that have ever appeared in FF is Odin's horse), unicorns aren't banned as it's proved in FF6
Maybe the globe thing on the XIII logo represents the world in XIII? Cocoon and Pulse i mean. Like, the unicorn thing is down and upside down, and the two persons are on the upper side. Maybe the two persons are lightning and Blonde haired guy? Just a wild speculation.
