So we know by now that FFXIII will come to PS3 and Xbox360.
The game are dev. on Crystal Tool.
So dosent this mean that it will not take so long time to port it to the xbox360.?

It will maybe only take some months for the porting?

Correct me if iam wrong.

They said with this Crystal tool it wouldn't take so long to port a game from one hardware to another, if i remember correctly that is.

That certainly isn't the case. It could take a few months or up to a year. It depends how experience they are with Xbox 360 hardware. We have no way of knowing how long it will take.

Didn't they say they'd only release the game in america after they finished porting it to the 360? awwww crap... looks like i wont be getting it for awhile...

I'm hoping that if they do have issues with the 360 version, they won't delay the PS3 versions release. It might be part of the contract they have with Microsoft to release it on the same day, but it might not be. Remember, they've also said they'll be "significantly" cutting down on localisation times. If the 360 version is taking too long, I don't think they'll have any choice but to release the PS3 version first.

I also don't think it would be a good idea to expect the versions to be identical. Considering that they're making it with only the PS3 in mind right now, and that they actually don't yet know how they're going to port it (if I heard right), then there could be a bit of a difference.

I thought they tried to release FFXIII for ps3 world wide on one date and they tried to release the xbox360 version asap after the ps3 release? Or did I misunderstood that?

You misunderstood

First PS3 in Japan, then porting to 360, then Release in EU/NA for PS3/360!

first they releases it in japan for PS3. Then we got to wait that they will port it for the Xbox360. Then they will release it in NA For PS3 and Xbox360. and about EU i dont know how they have been planning.

Thought it was first japan, then NA then waiting for porting of X360 edition and then EU with both.

And some people even keep insisting that there'll be a Japanese version for the X360. GOD NO.
