Only in it's third week in Japan, Dissidia: Final Fantasy has sold 750,000 copies which at this stage is far better than Crisis Core. Next will its almost definite that it will match and beat Crisis Core's sales already (Japan total 790,000). By comparison, Final Fantasy IV on DS has sold 670,000 copies in Japan since its release last year.
Although I don't expect much more growth in Japan, this is setting up a pretty good path and PSP fanbase for Agito and Parasite Eve.
Final Fantasy titles released on PSP are supposed to sell better than Final Fantasy titles released on DS. I don't know where I read it, but if that is the case, SE should consider supporting the PSP even more.
As you said, this bodes well for future Square games being released on PSP.
It'd be nice to see more support from Square Enix for PSP. Sure, there's Agito XIII, Birth by Sleep, and The 3rd Birthday (that's the one I'm really excited for), but aside from the Kingdom Hearts game, who knows when the other two are coming out. :U
Those sales are terrible for a FF game where you can play as every FF hero and villain! Monster Hunter sold like 1 miilion on it's first day!

I got a boner from Marlene in FFVII: AC, Agitha in Zelda: Twilight Princess and Sunny in MGS4. I'm starting to find cute girls more sexually attractive than hot girls. You're reading the words of a pedo in the making.

Those are very good sales for a PSP game. I have no idea how someone can see 750k as bad. Just because something sold better than it doesn't mean it sold badly. Some things are more popular than Final Fantasy you know...
Yeah... As other people has established, considering the PSP isn't as big-time as Nintendo's DS, those sales are decent, keeping in mind the time frame it's been out for.
As Zezlar stated, those are sales for just one region as well, so it's still pretty good. I can't wait for Dissidia to come out in the US.
