Hello, I am pretty new to these forums but I've noticed something I just had to comment on: What is the deal with all the infighting about which game will be better? It doesn't make any sense to me.
Right now we are like starving caged animals who are occasionally tossed scraps by Sqeenix. What we are starving for is not food, but rather information. Squeenix is keeping the cards very close to their chest about these games. Given this, I completely fail to understand how anyone can have already reached a conclusion as to which game will be better. We know very little about FFXIII, and next to nothing about FFvsXIII.
I will confess that right now I am more excited about FFXIII than FFvsXIII, for the sole reason that FFXIII will be out first. I will almost certainly purchase both games, but I will save my excitement about FFvsXIII until we come a bit closer to a release date. If you want to get all worked up about it now that's fine, but is there really a need (or a basis) for bashing FFXIII at this point in time? (If the game comes out and it's bad, then by all means bash it then...)
I wonder if this phenomenon is due in part to residual hostility related to the announcement of a 360 port of FFXIII. I know a lot of people feel like this was some sort of betrayal...look, I was a huge Nintendo fan back when Square made the decision to develop FFVII for the Playstation instead of the N64. That made me feel betrayed, and that was a full-blown switch, not just a port. I got over it. VII, VIII, and XI all had PC ports and nobody cared. But I guess having it on another console always evokes greater emotions.
Anyway, life is too short for internet flamewars. Sit back, grab a beer, and chillax.
I'm not sure where the turnoff for Happy Rainbow Land is, but you may want to drive back and find it because you clearly weren't intending to end up on the internet.

So, people are coming to conclusions early, so what? We're like a full year or so from getting the actual game. Let the people pretend to know which game is better. Also, as far as I've seen, no one actually KNOWS or has really come to a conclusion that one game will be better than another. All I've seen is that they think one is better due to their feelings. Also, the whole 360 thing is kind of old. Everyone's kind of gotten over it. Sorry, but I don't think you actually needed this thread.
I think it's kind of like football teams and the fat dudes on the couch who watch em. Nobody really knows how it's gunna turn out, but if you ask those fat guys, one team is God and the other team is nothing but trash.
In the end, though, no matter whether we fight over which team is better or not, we all love football... I mean Final Fantasy. ^___^;
And really, I think for the most part, we're enjoying watching both and comparing them because it's a topic more than because we're actually only going to buy one.

Yeah , I've just seen some people start to compare FF13 and FFversus13 together , and they begin to bash FF13. I don't know why , because these 2 games are very great together. FF13 is the original scheme of FF where there are still the power of fantasy in it and also the same pattern of the hero........it's in the light side , plus Lightning is so hot too , i can't bash at it cuz it's awesome and it's the mainstream. While FFversus13 is unorthodox , but it's very special and the main protagonist maybe not the good side.......but it's good. Both of them are very great , and i don't see the vital point where the fan club start to fight with this thing , it's nonsense , it's the game and the game is used to play , not use to fight or use to be over-obsessed...... it's just the game....even you spend time to stay in the cyber world or FF world in internet , but it's inevitable for you for returning to the real world.
Most final fantasy fans like more versus xiii because the traillers are better than xiii and its a ps3 exclusive. That´s it. I dont know if versus is going to be better than xiii but its almost certain that xiii will be better than versus because for xiii we have final fantasy 7/8/10 team and for versus we have kingdom hearts/the world ends with you team. There is a high probablily of versus having a awfull gameplay.

Nobody cares about the port anymore, its been and gone, why bring up this in order to backup your over thought theory on why everybody is apparently bleeding from the vagina, while playing a Nobuo Uematsu symphony on the cage bars. Nobody cares apart from the people who are willing to jump off a cliff while humming the theme song to Final Fantasy VII.
well people bash on FFXIII because its the one we know most about, we havent seen much of gameplay from Versus so there aint much to say there... but i'm sure that everybody on this forums will buy it anyway
