By now we should know that this isn't the best looking game out there, but the battles look fun and I've always liked this series. Hope I'll be happy with this game.

Urgh. Looks like it could be fun, but that's about it. And the only reason I think it could be fun is because the battle system is basically SO3's.

The characters look and sound to be some of the most annoying a tri-Ace game has ever seen. The story looks like corny shit - which is typical, but I'll let it go. The character models themselves look like they were pulled out of a game from last generation. The environments do look good, and I'm sure Motoi Sakuraba would pull off a good score again, but it's too little, too late.

Oh, tri-Ace, what happened to you?

it looked pretty nice.

the characters was maybe a little too much "anime" if can say so. graphics where nice, nothing wrong with it. the battle system is maybe one of the best that i have ever played
(if it is like in star ocean 3). i sure that`s a long game when it includes 3 DVD`s.
For me it`s a MUST BUY.

This game looks finominal to me. I think the grahics are perfect the way they are. It brings out the Star Ocean atmosphere. If this game is anything like S03, this game will be another blockbuster in my books. S03 is tied with FF8 as best game ever in my opinion. This game is a definite preorder for me but I will wait two weeks before the release because I still am hoping for a PS3 release.

Square is going to make over a hundred bucks on me on the day of release for this game. I got to buy this and S02. Then my Star Ocean collection will be complete!

Hmm... I'm divided. Like Shuyu said, the battle system is what's gonna made this game be fun. Oh, SO3.

The characters look AWFULLY GHEY. That girl, OHLAWD. *slitz*
Graphically, it looks good, but I hope the rest make up for it... ngghh, where's Super Nintendo's Star Ocean when I need it...

I'm really not expecting much of this game, dude. Seriously.

huh.. 'For Xbox 360' at the end.. it was the same for FFXIII trailers before it went to 360.

I dont know what some of you are thinking

but SO4 is going to be Awesome!!!
the graphics are astounding for CG and regular, the battle system is overhauled, the story looks great, SO MUCH WIN!!!!

I have some theories...
first of all they showed 7 out of the 10 main chars for the game
the rest of the 3 will be 2 more females and 1 more male chars to make it a total of 5 male and 5 female chars, just like they done before in SO2 and SO3. and yes Crowe is a char, i dont think they have all of this moves yet. or he could be an optional char like in SO3.

since the story is before SO1, (SO1 is a few years storywise before SO2) im guessing that Ronnixis is going to make an appearance, but most likley not as a playable char.

from this and other trailers the battle system has more depth then SO3 so you could actualy string combos together, also making the bonus round system more advanced.

at 2:41 there is a scene of a scientist person with meracle. by looks alone he is similar to Dion from SO3 and Lezard from Valkyrie Profile, from that i also think that both dion and lezard's english voice actor (liem O'brien) is going to voice act for the scientist.

2:47 is a scene where they show a woman in a blue out fit with VERY familiar shoes (>_> i pay attention thank you very much) and a bad attitude. MOST LIKLEY Hrist/Lenneth Valkyrie from valkyrie profile is going to make an appearance.

I am 100% getting this game!
