"Daia" sounds like dire to me. Wolba Dire Vanilla? Great name. It *could* be that. God whatever it is it'll be the worst name ever, I thought Snow was bad! That's just not fair I've got an ice cream craving now and I'm going to get faaaat
Oh, and it did definetely say "Protect Serra/Sarah" in the trailer, so presumably that's someone else..? Or maybe they just changed their minds or something. Or it's a nickname.
for some reasons, pigtails girl or "Vanilla" reminds me of Rikku........duno if anyone else think that......just by looking at her clothing design or u know what it even looks a bit like yuna from ffx-2
Lightning is Ashe
Snow is Seifer
Black Soldiers are Helghast
White soldiers are Stae Wars
Music = FF XII mixed with SW
Who gives a shit as long as the game is good?

hmmm, at first when i read the name wolva-dia i felt that i had heard the name before, and when i said the name out loud i remebered something which led to this far fetched theory:
FF often use linked names (Tidus, Cloud, Squall etc) and I don't believe that xiii is an exeption e.g. snow villiers. snow = shiva and villiers = motorcycle (maybe, just a theory remember).
So how does Wolva-Dia fit into this pattern?
Well, Wolva-Dia made me think of Volvagia in Zelda the ocarina of time, who was a fire boss. this made me wonder if Wolva-Dia was connected to a fire summon of some kind.
if we then assume that everyone in your party (Vanilla, Lightning and Snow) has his/her own special summon then snow could have shiva, Wolva-Dia could have ifrit and lightning could have ixion in some form. then the name makes sense in a way i guess...
I like the theory apart from the fact that neither of her names sound anything like Ifrit/firey stuff, or any other summons I can think of. If you stretch it it could be an earth summon or something. And Zelda has nothing to do with FF
We don't know anything about Lightning summoning anything, but yeah, the Snow/Shiva connectiong's pretty obvious, why not do it with other characters. Although game-play wise I prefer a little more freedom.

she's got like proper high priestess headgear on and shit
plus she's walkin behin a coffin or somethin
maybe people have interpreted that scene wrong
if it's like a ritual passing, that would explain the sorrow in her expression
SO ALL OF THESE PEOPLE TOO ALL HAD A RITUAL PASSING ASWELL?
It's obvious she is within Prison Gear etc. And that Herself and the object they have blatantly taken are being taken too a different location et.c.c.c.c.c.

hmm maybe
i still think the name makes sense
so you think the thing being carried is not a person?
maybe the other people being exiled from Coccoon are also religious/magic users?
the enemy so far appears to be soldier/military type , i guess that would fill the whole good vs evil bill
