YES, Dragon Quest 10 was announced and its coming to................................................ .................................................. ...............................Nintendo WII.
LOL! Sony fucked up big this gen. Nah, it just means Ninty really stepped up their game this gen and that's why SQEX are giving them support as the Wii/DS userbase in Japan just deserves it.
Still got my money on, Wii and DS FFXIII games coming soon.

I got a boner from Marlene in FFVII: AC, Agitha in Zelda: Twilight Princess and Sunny in MGS4. I'm starting to find cute girls more sexually attractive than hot girls. You're reading the words of a pedo in the making.

Not a big surprise. Read the news on rpgfan. I thought it was bullshit, but they had a link to famitsu.
Good for Wii owners I guess. Can't say I know much about the series. First DQ game in Europe was DQ8 and it doesn't look like my cup of tea. All I know is this will sell like crazy.

Hate the style of Dragon Quest personally, almost as much as Blue Dragon. Enjoy Wii fans.

I don't know about Sony fucking up here...
No doubt they have lost a lot of exclusives which has pissed me and a lot of people off, especially when we bought the console when they were showing off these "exclusives". However Dragon Quest might be a pretty big series but I think it has about as much pull as Star Ocean has exclusivity wise. I could see it a mile off considering they already made Dragon Quest swords for Wii and IX for DS.
Also an FNC Nintendo title is almost certain looking at Square-Enix's previous strategy.
As long as they don't do the swords style it won't be much different than if it was for PS3. I mean, they're hardly going for realistic graphics, so I don't really care either way. I would say it's quite a hit for Sony though, it supposedly sells way more than FF in Japan, so this can't be good for them.
I loved VIII, I thought it was really funny. And I just can't resist English accented voice acting but hopefully theyll speed it up a little this time

How did Sony fuck up? Dragonquest isn't even that good. I am happy for the Wii owners though.
Money on FFXIII on the Wii or DS? LOL I don't think either of them could even handle loading up a single character in FFXIII.
Dragon Quest VIII was a great game. I was sad when they announced IX for DS ( actually i have a ds but i would like it more on ps3). I think SE is completely nuts, DQ9 havent been released yet and they already announced 10.

did you miss the whole FFIX not being out but information and videos for X and XI were released during a IX event? Or announcing 3 different XIII titles and falling behind majorly?
this actually seems a more Square problem than a Enix one.
I'm personally not a fan of the Dragon Quest series (a bit too kiddy for me) but I do appreciate the series for it's very redeemable merits (good story, great graphics, etc...).
I am slightly excited that DQ-X is coming to the Wii. On the one hand, I'm 99.9% sure it will be a quality title no matter what.
On the other hand I have a bad feeling that Square might take the wrong route and decide to fully utilize the motion-sensing controls of the Wii-mote. I see this as bad because it will turn what was so simple and lovable about DQ (the old school RPG play) and tear it apart.
But we'll see, after all, DQ-9 isn't even out IN JAPAN yet, we got a long wait ahead of us.
