Now, this is an online translation so as always, don’t trust me on this one. Unlike the other translations I will try to make sense this time.

She was simply identified as 'The Lightning'
So there you have it, our gravity controlling lady has been chosen by the crystal and is know by codename 'Lightning'. We got a semi-confirmed name. You can now call her Lightning.
There is more, but it makes no sense. It is the Japanese article with it own theories so it’s all questions. I try to translate it anyway.

Is the motor sword the Sawayama's weapon and what does the motor do!? I just realized that Nero from DMC4 has a motor sword as well with a throttle too. He had to "tune" the sword they say.
Well....Lightning isnt her true name i guess....GAH wat am i talking about, its still lame ass codename
*wants to see new versus trailer now* it sounds awesome im likle the guy from versus beter and beter OH! i also want the trailer so i can make a new amv with it!!!
As a codename I think "Lighting" is OK. Besides, she is "The Lightning", the terminator of mankind^^

Good work finding all of that Shame the trailers were in a closed theatre again I wonder if it's going to take another 6 months like last time for them to become available to us.
Kokun sounds like an okay name for the city. I'd better start adding these things to the site!

Just got back from JF'07. Copy-pasting this from my blog on the FFvs13 trailer.
- Same trailer music but longer and more violins inserted.
- The trailer started by showing a car going through the city, with the Versus guy in the backseat, listening to the radio (couldn't hear what the radio reporter was saying) .
- Then the usual scene of him sleeping on his throne, getting up from it and then going out of the building to greet the soldiers. But this time they showed more than a minute more of him kicking those soldiers' butts. OMG there was so many things that happened, I don't know how to describe it! And because my English sucks, I'm gonna try my best to describe the action scenes here. >__>
- First he ran towards the soldiers with his swords and hack-and-slashed away at them, then with a sword he broke a soldier's arm and with the rifle still shooting out of the soldier's hand, he moved around the soldier so that the aiming went towards the other soldiers. After he finished shooting, he looked up at the building and many soldiers were climbing down the bulding by ropes. He jumped back to the stairs and started walking towards the building but suddenly he disappeared from thin air! The camera moved to the right and left, looking for the Versus Guy, and suddenly at the corner we see one of soldiers falling down from the building and the camera went to focus there.
From there, you see Versus Guy falling down too, but in style and slashing away at the climbing soldiers while he's at it. He kept teleporting in and out and his swords kept popping out and in everywhere and he easily slashed away at the many soldiers.This whole scene is actually quite morbid, because you see the swords go through the soldiers, blood splattering out and those sorts. Once Versus Guy's done, he stood back at the stairs, but suddenly a soldier shot a bazooka at him and a huge explosion erupted. Once the smokes cleared off, you see him still standing, unscarred, because his swords deflected the explosion. Lastly, he slowly walked back into the building.
There you go. It was an awesome thing to watch, yes.

- The beginning of the trailer starts with a woman's voice explaining the world's background, in English. I couldn't hear the voice well (since I'm waaay at the back of the theatre) so I relied to the Japanese subtitles instead. I'm not gonna write down the world's background in case I misinterpret anything the woman said so I'd recommend waiting until a proper gaming news site (like IGN) put some coverage on it. The FF13 heroine's name is confirmed to be Lightning (the voice mentioned Lightning being chosen by the crystal, too) but it's not her real name either. It turns out she's a mysterious character in the game, too.
- Most of the footages are the same as the TGS'06 trailer but at the end they added a new scene where the soldiers were outnumbering Lightning and she was making a face that says "*sigh* This is so bothersome" and then suddenly a guy came into the scene with a motorbike and shot away at the soldiers. He was wearing a long trench coat, had shoulder-length blonde hair and wore a black bandanna. What I can remember of him:

- At the end of trailer, I can't really remember the full text, but there was a text saying the real him(?) was still in slumber. And the end.
- ..... So yes, Mr. No Socks was hawt. I love seeing how they put so much details in his clothes and seeing how leathery or whatever the fabric for his clothes is. *_*
Looks like Mr No Socks can be pretty lethal It looks like there definatly wasn't any gameplay which is probably a good thing in a way as we REALLY don't want Mr Nomura rushing this and I hope Disney can get off his back persuading him to make the new KH3 game soo soon. Damn you Corporations! Let him finish his own project! From what I can tell from the violence we've heard about so far we're looking at a 15 or M rating (comparing it to MGS2 and the version of American Subsistence) if any of this gets into the final cut. I can see why they its a spin off from the main series.
XIII on the other hand doesn't seem to be having such an impresive trailer being shown right now but I wasn't there and I thought that the Versus trailer was going to be boring so I could be proved wrong! Obviously we have a new character being revealed but it was still just added footage from the E3 and TGS trailers. At least we now have some storyline which makes it a little less vague and we have it semi-confirmed she is called Lightning but i refuse to add "The" to the begining of it.
They also have some photos of the closed mega theatre which looks like its just the same one from TGS.
I really feel like scaling those walls right now...
It looks like Agito just had the same trailer as at TGS but then again I'm not gonna lose sleep over that.
For me it's about neck and neck but only because we have a real trailer at a decent resolution for XIII and we actually know some things about it while Versus is still pretty mysterious but has an amazing trailer with the Nomura factor added.
Come on Toriyama and Nomura! Fight for our Love!
EDIT: Hmmm FF-XIII.net has posted the fanart as news now. Also they sourced us for the 2 previous news posts but now they replaced our link. Looks like they haven't changed the link in their forum post though. How weird.

.................all I gotta say is....wow....just wow. The versus trailer sounds amazing I wish it wasn't in a closed theter. Lmfao...Mr. No socks....best name ever. Do you think it's Mr. No socks that says "It has no awakend" or whatever. lol
Nice, can't wait to see him in details. They quit sourcing us because they found a real translation. We will put up a summary when Jump Festa ends.

BTW: Compared to fryday we went up 233% in hits while FFXIII "only" went up 135%. They are still bigger then us but its no longer that huge leap. (1k hits compared to 1,35k hits) Yatta^^
