Oh, my god. If there are children characters in any of the FNC games I'm going to be so fucking annoyed. They were shit in Lost Odyssey and worse in Infinite Undiscovery, please, for the love of god don't add children characters into the game They're so lameeee.
When Cooke said "Your breath smells so bad its wilting all the flowers" in LO, I nearly smashed the xbox. That is so lame its indescribable.
I'm hoping that there are NPC children in the game, but never would I want a child character in my party. Larsa in FFXII was bad enough (I also thought he was a girl first time I saw him...) and I don't want another like him in a Final Fantasy game. As for kids you can just talk to, etc, I want that among other things in XIII. It's so bloody stupid that there is next to no one younger than adult in Final Fantasy games. I want to see children playing around in the game world, teens lingering idly, and toddlers following adults (Their parents) as they wander about.
Yeah, I also want little children, children, teenagers ect. Not just aldults and old people, it's getting old Although there are children who's just running around in the city's
URGGGGG, i already have a fear of children in the real world, last thing i need IS CHILDREN WITHIN A GAME LOOKING MORE REAL THAN SIN. Fuckin scares me, and they are usually cheery little bastards who act like little cocky nobz.
Only kids I've ever really liked are Vivi and Eiko, they fit in with the style of FFIX though. FFXIII is going for this much more 'realistic' (I use that term loosely and am referring only to character relationships) style, so kid playable characters would be weird, just like they would have been weird in X.
I really doubt there'll be any playable one's, that'd just be weird.
There's a higher chance that there'll be some arrogant little twat as a significant character, either doing retarded things like almost getting themselves killed while thinking they're tough, or being pissy with the characters and all "Why didn't you do this? Wahhhh!". If you get what I mean.
I don't mind if they're nice and sweet and do as they're told, though
I think the main problem with children characters, is when they use adults to do the voice acting for them, so their speech sounds forced and retarded (and not convincing at all) Otherwise i am okay with it.
I think XIII will have a younger character (not like below 10, but young) though i think VersusXIII won't, the theme's a bit too dark for having child characters imo.

Larsa was fucking amazing. I have no idea what you are talking about. he was uselful, smart, talked nice, and knew his way around.

ok what are you talking about? There are tons of kid NPC's in FF games and RPG's in general. And "no one younger than adult" how can you say that when most of the cast are no older than 25 but are as young as 10?

Lighting is the older main char since Cecil. It so unreal Squall and other chars like him are 17/18 years old. It looks like 22/25 years old.

Maybe I'd like kids in Versus. Since it's suposed to be a dark game, maybe some kids will die and Noct will blame himself for it. I dunno.
That's their only use.
