This is going way too far. Square-Enix may be tight about releasing new information now, but give it a year and imagine how secretive they'll be then. They DO announce their games too early and create enormous hype, then release next to nothing to tide the fans over until game's release. It's been two years now, and the latest trailers consist of half of footage from 2006.
What have we learnt about the games since their announcements? Sure, we know character names now, but they were only just revealed. But have we heard their voices? Do we know even a little decent backstory? No. The only gameplay of XIII that has been released to the public is that 45 seconds or so of Lightning fighting soldiers on a freeway. Versus is even worse a state.
I swear, by the time the first three Fabula Nova Crystallis games are released I'll have a bloody job and'll probably be seventeen! Square-Enix knows it's the biggest RPG maker in the industry, it knows very well how famous the Final Fantasy games are, and it's using that to keep fans hanging.
And what about the next three games?! The situation will be even worse for them!

Adding my name to the list of people who quoted you, dear IBeat, I sincerely agree with you. I'm feeling at a loss as to why Squeenix wants to dangle a succulent carrot over our heads, and only alow a few essenceless nibbles, basicly chuckling at our desires. Why I want actual information is because I want something new. Yes, there are nice games out there to play and do whatever with, but when something truely interesting comes out and fills the void left by the last interesting obsession, it makes me want it.
Atleast that's my sentiment.
All this is a bif ***ing business plan they want us to have the game all day in our minds and when the game comes we all gonna run to buy it like crazy dogs, think this all over the world everyday fans talk in many forums about ff for many kinds of subjects this is just the best business plan SE have right now. They want this games to sell way to much and it will i am sure.
Even if we get angry piss off or say i don't buy for difrent reason at the end all gonna buy so they don't afraid if they loose fans................. But anyway i am angry right know about damm SE i wish i could talk to one of this guys really just talk them curse them, maybe right a great message lets all in the site sigh it with our nicknames and kitmitsu send it to SE.

I see well what can we do anyway each person for SE is 70 euros (the one game price probably) nothing more we are just more money to come in their pockets who don't want money today..... Maybe some guys in SE care about fans but i don't know what in the heads of the others...........
