Godd someone know how to use a secret camera.
Gameplay looks very good and i love too that school theme in games.
Hope someone leak versus xiii and xiii trailler too.
I took that video at the PSP booth. It was WAY the hell up in the rafters so I'm guessing a lot of people missed it (cause you're not going to see it if you're not looking way up). It was shown publicly, multiple times and, unlike MGSOnline, LBP & KH:BBS demos/videos, there was no sign saying I couldn't take pictures/video/etc. Beyond that, it was right next to the PSP info booth so they could see I was doing it and didn't stop me.
I believe I'd been watching the 2006 TGS 3rd Birthday trailer when it switched to Agito, I went "HOLY SHIT" and whipped out my camera. With my camera (which is a photo camera with video function) and the people crowd, there was no way to get a good shot of the screen or clearly hear the audio (because it was up so high).
The original video size is 640x480 and YouTube munched that up.

hey there, thanks for getting that for us! I know it's from the pre-PSP build, but if it were upto SE, none of us outside of Japan would get to see it ;_;
can i ask.. why were you looking at the ceiling? xD
oh, did you go into any of the closed theater showings?
PS. would you be able to upload the original video? (the none youtube defiled one lol)

It was weird, SE loves to keep a lid on their stuff, and they, themselves, didn't show anything publicly, but the PSP people showed a bunch of their 2006 trailers and the Docomo people showed a short KH:Coded trailer. I was really surprised there was *anything*. The Agito thing was one of those moments where you stand there going "... W-WHAT!?" and move as fast as you can lol. The only reason I can think of for why they showed it, is because it is the Mobile trailer, and the updated PSP trailer has a *ton* of changes/improvements.
XD I'd actually been stopped by my friends RIGHT in front of it. They were deciding what to do next, I was just looking around bored, saw the moving videos and started watching the trailers. I suppose, on the plus side, it' s a good thing it was so high up, otherwise there would have been a million heads in the way or people walking in front.
Yes, I did go to the Closed Theatre. It was epic and awesome. I don't think there's ever been a soundtrack more than I want the Versus soundtrack. Hoooooooly crap. Epic.
I'll work on putting it up! I don't have the memory card on me at the moment.

I was surprised the trailer at the Sony booth was the old one, it seems it must still be (somewhat) representative of how the game is at it's current stage of development (so art style, FMV scenes, battle system etc) must still be the same - though PSP graphics? xD Otherwise i don't think SE would have allowed it to be shown.
Did you see the ingame parts of VersusXIII in the trailer? Places like IGN said that visually it was amazing and just a notch below pre-rendered quality :O
And there was a new character revealed for XIII also, silver haired man or something?
Which of the two PS3 Final Fantasy XIII games are you more interested in from what you saw?

Thanks for the impressions =)
The current Agito trailer and the old one, other than the in-game play and battle system, were NOTHING alike. You could tell they up'd the anty with the graphics, but the actual trailer FMVs were done like a 40's/50's style video recording - very scratchy and old school. It had a really neat effect. The kids had their school uniforms covered by cloaks. The world was escentially going to war and they were going to protect the shattered crystal (the crystal cracks and partially shatters to start the trailer). I just remember the 2006 & 2007 TGS Agito trailers being the most vibrant of the 3, very colourful and pretty (I was so mad it was on mobile) then the PSP announcement, and it gets DARK and violent (not that I'm complaining lol, just surprised, because I hadn't had that impression previously). I should go fish a picture out of the Square booklet.
Holy shit Versus. The in-game was stunning. It fooled me a few times, because you couldn't always tell it was in-game. The in-game stuff did give itself away sometimes by how a character would move or the pixelation of hair strands (heh, yeah, single strands).
Versus gets the gold star of the trip for having the MOTHER of all soundtracks. omg.
There were actually TWO new characters introduced for XIII. One was the silver haired man (it was tied back in a stubby poiny tail). He was military, tall and skinnier. He had an ear piece on his right ear that he took off as he left his post.
There was also a woman, who appeared to be either military, or in a powerful position of some sort. She's got long, blonde hair (knee lenth - STUNNINGLY RENDERED. The hair rendering was so realistic and natural on her I dropped my jaw @.@) and rectangular-framed glasses. She looked to hold herself high. She encounters pig-tailed girl who's following behind what looked like a funeral procession and stops the progression (I checked with my friend who saw it with me - it looked like 8 men were carrying a casket, flanked by officers as they left a hall - ala military funeral). Pig-tailed girl is actually cloaked - very awesome white cloak (or light colour - it was a night scene so I can't remember the colour exactly)
I can't pick a game I want XD cause theyr'e all so unique it's hard to compare.
