Rumorville: Sakaguchi seen at TGS with Amano and Uematsu near SE booth
As the title says Sakaguchi has been sited by some folks at EGM standing with fellow game legends Nobuo Uematsu and Yoshitaka Amano. They were standing near the SE booth and somehow the EGM folks who are posting at neogaf are claiming that a surprise announcement for the two companies is imminent
Let's assume this is true for a minute.... How about an Xbox 360 exclusive FNC chapter outsourced to Mistwalker produced by Sakaguchi, written and directed by Itou, designs by Amano and music by Uematsu? Final Fantasy Deceitius XIII
Read this earlier and I can't believe they even reported it. Yes it's quite possible they could all make a game but how is all of them standing outside a booth talking enough evidence. Like Allen said, EGM is always making these weird assumptions and I only posted the Agito release date news because it's relatively possible and alot of people seem to trust EGM. This isn't related to Final Fantasy XIII or FNC updates (that we know of) so I'll move it.
After considering it, it isn't entirely unlikely should SE venture to aquire Mistwalker. As we've seen with the Blue Dragon DS spinoff, they aren't exclusive to MS. I can't imagine MS or Mistwalker are at all happy with their revenues. I'm sure those RPG's were behemoths to pay for, and they didn't really sell all that well. Also, SE must be on the lookout for an experienced team to subsidize the FF outflow(XIII, VXIII, AXIII, HXIII and, presumably, FFXIV)
Couple that with SE's policy of aquiring other gaming companies... and you have a surprise TGS announcement.... but probably not.
Or maybe just maybe they are just a couple of friends that a few years ago all worked on the same company and are just hanging out on their free time
I'm just saying

Mistwalker is independant, but still rely heavily on MS. Having one of their properties show on DS is nothing new.. They own Rare, and by extention Viva Pinata, yet they have no problem allowing a VP DS game.
I think the entire asumption that simply because they were seen in front of a booth, it means they are planning anything is retarded. Im going to go stand outside Sony HQ..MUST MEAN I WORK THERE!!!!!!!!
i am pretty positive they are waiting for Matsuno to resurrect. And then the days of judgment can truely arrive. I will be the first in line for that product.
wasnt it Lost Odessey a game like that?
music by Nobou, characters by that guy who design character in dragon ball I think and Sakaguchi as a producer,
they might make another rpg, does it mean it will Final Fantasy in terms of commercial success?
