So here's what i've come up with. So Terra, Ven, Aqua, and that bald guy are all apprentices of Master Xehanort. Now, with Xehanorts abcense, Ven, Terra, and Aqua search for him. Baldy (calling him this now), somewhere along the lines, gave into the darkness, losing all of his light. Now he's just like the other Disney Villians in a sense. And he now wants the other three to stop looking for Xehanort and to join the darkness. He especially wants Terra and spreads a rumor (maybe not just a rumor) that he as joined or submitted to the darkness. but now, seeing Terra wanting to be a Keyblade Master, Baldy tries to exploit his desires and wants him to give up his light, doing this without Xehanort.
But all Terra wants is power to protect his friends.

Next he wants Ven as well, seeing as his state of mind is in a bit of distortion. He hasn't lost his light but the darkness is creeping up inside. Baldy exploits this, telling him to give it up in order to obtain power. (Also warns Terra that if you except the darkness, you must be fit enough for the power and to not let it take over him, "Those who submit to the darkness, are unfit to wield the Keyblade...)
I would also bet that the Rebirths would also have something to do with reincarnations (maybe it has something to do with a rebirth terra{for being unfit for the darkness} having to "Erase" Ven in order to be reincarnated or something....) or something (maybe having to do with Xehanort being reborn to become a Scientist under Ansem)!

I think the true story is going to be similar to that yu said.
I will tell my thoughts about why Ven is similar(equal) to Roxas.
We know that something horrible hapened with Aqua(cause her armour is in the nobodys castle) and probably Terra will go to the dark side and . Ven wants to defeat Xehanort( xehanort can be baldy or other person) but Xehanort is complete and Ven dont think that can defeated it so Ven ask to Terra to erase him so his heart/soul could possess someone in the future (Sora) and defeat Xehanort cause he is divided in a Hearthless/Nobody (Ansem/Xemnas) and it will be more easy to defeated.
So, Ven is a part of Sora and cause that Roxas is similar to Ven.
Did i make sense?
Other thing....if aqua is relationed to water, ven to wind and terra to earth, who is the fire?

Nice theory it's plausible. I think that the bald guy IS Xehanort, hence the fact that he shares an outfit with 'Ansem'/'Xehanort's Heartless' from the first game.

This could be very important to the storyline. I'm thinking that both legends are true, and Aqua or Ventus is the first keyblader mentioned. Terra, who appears to be working with Maleficent, is the second. As for the striking resemblence Ventus pays to Roxas (He even dresses like him) I think that he isn't Sora's Nobody at all, but Ven's Rebirth. As far as I can tell, Rebirths are just like Heartless and Nobodies, and they are created either when someone regains their heart, or are born again. On this same note, Sora, Kairi and Riku might be Rebirths of Ventus, Aqua and Terra.
Terra, like Riku, will believe that he is doing the right thing by joining with Maleficent and will unintentionally destroy a world. This would make him the 'bad' keyblader. He's looking for the seven princesses of heart, to perhaps create a heart for Aqua. There's a good chance that she's a nobody, considering 'Xion', the new Organization member is a blue-haired female.
Well, like the first 2 entities, there's probably a huge concept behind Rebirths (like that idea about them being born when one regains their heart and such, good idea). If Roxas is Ven Reborn, wouldn't he have known about his past just like Xemnas knew about him as Xehanort. And anyways he is a Nobody. In the Organization in acted more like a being without a heart. When he gains memories (after he left) he acts more like one with a heart.

interesting indeed. maybe the bald guy's the so-called 'fire' here, coz earth (in some way...? I dunno LOL) wind and water can always put out the fire.. (terra ven and aqua stopping the old baldie)

Well, considering Sora turned into a heartless in KH1 which led to Roxas' birth in 2. I dont think the heartless would be as strong, Sora's/Roxas' nobody looked like a normal one.
Back to the theory, I dont think Terra would be affected in any way by some little 'ol rumor Baldy probably has something he needs, wants, or cant lose, so i'm thinking he'll use Ven against him like you said. I really want to know how Aqua fits into all this she seems just as important and the only one whose got her head straight.
