While they are VERY cool, they look alot like Cloud's from AC XD Like a trimmed down version.

I like them, but i dont know if they should look soooo similar. Teh do suit him and his surroundings though.

Dante is talking about the Versus boy's clothes. Not FFXIII or what they hope to do.

I agree with you that his clothes look very much like Cloud's AC outfit. I am still not for that all black neither. No color in his wardrobe?

The troops from the outer world remind me of the Sith Soldiers/Troopers from Star Wars: Knight of the Old Republic. Don't know how it took me so long to see that.

Somehow that young man from FFXIII Versus reminded me a lot about Cloud. The cloths are slighty similar to Cloud's AC outfit and the sword, or part of I have seen of it in the trailer, looks like a combination of a Cloud's sword and parts of the Gunblade. Is it just me or that guy's sword has an engine on it?

Yeh i guess they do look like cloud's AC threads a bit. Tetsuya Nomura's designs tend to look similar sumtimes, but it doesn't bother me, i love his art. The guy's sword revs like a motorcycle... dats jus kewl!

At least it's an original idea I guess. Not sure how an engine powered sword would be put into practice, must be damn heavy but everyone in FF's seem to have super human strength when it comes to holding weapons.

I really like the way he looks. I can't really think of any way I would change him. I know it is dull just wearing black but I think it suits the surroundings and what we've learnt about the game soo far. Welcome btw Joshun!

I love his clothes, and yes they do look similar but that's TN's art style I guess. I especially love his fondness for adorning his characters with many shiny, silver zippers.

What? "the sadness his eyes, his hair" are you tripping off acid? First off, this boy wasn't even sad, he was pretty much at a non-emotional state throughout the whole trailer. Cloud's spikes share nothing in common with this boys more down to earth hairdo. The only spiked part is the back, you can say he shares more in common with Sion in hairstyle if you just flip it front to back.

lol thats true, except Sion's hair is more spikier in the front than the guy's hair from Versus in the back. Also, i thought the expession on the guy's face reminded me of Clouds too, i wouldnt sad though, i mean Cloud always seems to have a non-emotional face alot of the times too

When I look his clothes they don't remind me of Cloud at all. But when I look his face and hair I see another clone next to the heroine of XIII...
Please, tell me the entire XIII universe is not filled with depressed clones of Cloud. That's not fun at all!

Then wouldn't that mean you no one talked in a FF before 10? since no body moved their mouth and just had text boxes pop up? Cloud was a pretty chatty character unlike Squall which mainly said "I don't know" or "I don't care" but would have paragraphs before reason in his mind with see through text boxes(see through meant thoughts).

why would you want to put color on this guy? Imagine him in color? that would ruin the whole theme of the game. And besides he looks pretty tough in that outfit.
