Eh, I'm a female, so there isn't much choice. Aeris maybe, but she ends up dead, Tifa but she'd have massive back problems... Yuffie's way too... eccentric. Elena could be a good choice, but not Lucrecia. She's not technically from the original but maybe Cissnei?

Yes I ponder alot. My final choice is a tie between Elena and Yuffie.

Tifa or Yuffie ! They are my favourite female characters ! The first is beautiful, strong and brilliant. The second one is wonderful ! Happy, a great fighter, strong and so much pretty too
