But hopefully V and VI will be remade on a better system than the DS
Yes, I'd rather have them on the PS3 than DS

what they need to do is remake FF7 now thats a classic
As Allen said, I don't think revamping the game graphically will make it any better, FF7 is one of those games.
Unless they made a better battle system, some gameplay tweaks, wadda wadda. Ah yes, and perhaps fill-in some stories, such as the Crisis Core's. I wouldn't want a completely identical story remake.
Btw, a FFVI remake would be epic. If only it could be for the X360...

Pirate lady in 3D = sexeh That'd be nice. They did all that for VI (though not on DS) and I-II, so why not V?

I played Vagrant Story and enjoyed FF Tactics. That is why I love FFXII.

I definitely think that they'll remake Final Fantasy V on the Nintendo DS, as it looks as if they're building up to a Final Fantasy VI remake; or at least that's what a lot of fans want.
I doubt that it'll go to a home console, like someone suggested; primarily because the idea of remaking the legacy series on Nintendo DS was to add a little more innovation to the games. Though I'm pretty sure that they took stylus play out of Final Fantasy IV DS, so maybe not - I sitll think that the touch screen was definitely one of their reasons for choosing the DS over say; the PSP.
