Like I said in the news, I hate Aeris JP and NA voices. They both suck major monkey balls!
The game looks great though, combat was a little different then what I was expecting(thought battlefield was going to be bigger). I hope the load times aren't super long because it looks like a big and beautiful game.
edit: Zack's JP voice sucks as well. Can't remember the NA one.

WAT R U TALKING ABOUT! its Suzumura Kenichi! i knew Zack sounded like him when i first heard it so i checked on Wiki and i was right! (i watch A LOT of anime in japanese and Suzumura Kenichi has voiced some of my favorite chacters) well i guess its just cause im used to his voice...
That trailer was awsome! Its said a lot about the game as well, i didnt the trailer was going to say too much about the story, but i was wrong!

I didnt think his voice was too bad. I also think Aeris' voice in Japanese is quite good actually. Her American one is just awful. Replaying KH2 opened my eyes to how little effort she put into her character. Damn you Mena Suvari!
I think the battle system looks quite good for a PSP game. I think i'd be a little dissapointed if it was for PS2 though.
I forgive the actors because it was set 7 years before FFVII and the characters were a lot younger. Still, it doesn't mean I liked what I heard -
But I liked how small changes in hairstyles and outfits in flashbacks showed the time difference between events. But does anyone how many different outfits does Aerith own at the moment? I've lost count...

-The reels are the symbolic expression of Zack's memories and situation. Mind and body are affected as they spin, aiming to change various characteristic of the young SOLDIER.
- The left reel affects HP, the center MP, and the right AP.
- If you satisfy certain conditions which effect only the reel screen, special patterns will emerge and their power can be invoked.
- Usually below the reels the indicator says "normal," but you can access a special mode.
- When you get 2 of the same character or number the reels display will enlarge, and if you get 3 of the same will set off a special attack. (Limit Break)
- If the numbers on the reels met a certain criteria, it will switch to a screen showing just the reels and depending on what characters are on the reels you will get a cutscene.
- There will be materia that can change the probability of the reels.
- HP and MP levels are of little effect.
- But if you run out of SP, the reels will stop.
Story
- With the strong human portrayals (of the characters), the point is to move the player to tears.
- In the latest (trailer lit: image) a new blonde character (Lazard/Razard) appeared.
- A female character from another Compilation of FFVII title will appear, as well as some other characters yet to be revealed.
- Tseng and Aeris' past will only be covered a little.
- For the first half the Shinra building will be the home base, and the story will advance in the various places you're dispatched to. It is possible to visit the 8 Sectors.
- Along with progressing the story you are free to move about the Field map, but there is no World Map.
- The whole of the development process is at 60%
- Lazard is a representative of the SOLDIER union.
- Genesis' voice is provided by Mr. Gackt. Genesis is a SOLDIER 1st Class.
- Before Aeris' image was of someone sacred and holy, but this time she has a very lively image.
- While he is in 2nd Class we have "Zack the puppy" but when he becomes a 1st Class he changes his hair style.
- Just as Cloud was influenced by Zack, Zack in turn will be influenced by Angeal. (Not sure if that's supposed to be literal.)
- The major point of the story is, the presentation of how the three different members of SOLDIER's 1st Class will influence Zack. The relationship between these three is paramount.

-------
- Tabata describes CC as a 'human drama' dealing with Zack while he was alive that concentrates on its portrayal of the characters
- You only control Zack, and not a party of characters
- While the battles might look complicated, you won't have to input a lot of tricky commands
- Following with CC's focus on drama, battles incorporate story elements as well, you might even 'end up crying during some of the battles'
- Materia in CC will have an original method of customization
- There's more to the battles than what was shown at Jump Festa
- The first part of the game has you being dispatched to different locations with the Shinra building as your home base, and the latter parts involve Zack on the run from Shinra
- Nomura describes the battle system as like ATB system without the 'wait' setting. You enter commands when a gauge fills up, but that isn't displayed on the screen
- Even though it's already clear what will happen to Zack, Nomura feels that when people get to that point of the game they'll feel strongly about wanting to try to avoid that fate
- Zack gradually grows up into a man as he makes his way towards being a SOLDIER 1st class, in contrast to the whole 'puppy' thing
- Although their personalities are completely different, Angeal will have an impact on Zack and he grows as a character (like Zack did to Cloud)
- Nomura comments on how much effort Nojima is putting into the scenario, and thinks CC’s is his best of late
cloud's in crisis core since he later becomes zack's friend and ally. if you saw the anime "last order", itll explain what the game is about. since its only flashbacks based on the final fantasy 7 storyline, they made this game in order to tell about zack.
As previously mentioned, the article reveals the full names of Zack and Angeal. Their full names are Zack Fair and Angeal Hewley. The official romanization of Razaado has also been confirmed as Lazard.
According to Nomura, Zack's name is derived from the term "fair weather", and is intended to contrast with Cloud Strife, while Angeal's name has origins in Greek, and there is also meaning behind it. It seems to be based on hyle, which is Greek for "matter", and is translated as "materia" in Latin.
Quote:
- Angeal's betrayal mentioned in the screenshots refers to him disappearing during a mission.
- The 'bakaringo' Zack asks about seems to be an important item, and could be translated as "stupid apple".
- Genesis' line about two people having continued to betray him seems to be about Sephiroth and Angeal, but is actually about characters who haven't shown up yet.
- In addition there's another original character yet to be shown.
Zack (first page): "Angeal would never betray me!"
Zack (second page): "What about the 'bakaringo'?"
Angeal (with the Buster Sword on his shoulder): "You're more important than this sword."
Quote:
In the interview, Nomura mentions the origins of Zack and Angeal's last name, as noted in the previous update. In regard to the scene with Genesis, Angeal, and Sephiroth, "The scene with the three people facing off happened in the past, and has an important meaning for each of them. It was after this that things started got out of hand... Angeal doesn't use the Buster Sword here, either."
He also mentioned that there is an important meaning behind the color and design of Angeal's wings, Zack and the Turks have a close relationship, and that Lazard's role is vital to the story. When asked about the release date, he said that an announcement would be made before long.
Wutai Lance Corporal: "It'd be a shame to kill someone so talented, why not join me instead?"
Quote:
- Angeal, Sephiroth, and Genesis face off in the city of Junon, which previously appeared in "FFVII". Why are they fighting? It seems to have happened long ago... Angeal, who turns to the others with a grim look, is Zack's friend. He can be seen fighting with the Buster Sword on his back, instead using a standard issue SOLDIER sword.
- The friendship between Angeal and Zack could be considered the core of story. The two develop a strong relationship of trust when Angeal, who would normally never use the Buster Sword, wields it to defend Zack. It's clear that Zack will one day inherit this huge sword, but what kind of drama will there be in the process?
- This is the new character, Lazard, head executive of SOLDIER, the elite military unit of the Shinra Company. He is a clear-headed man who holds an important position within Shinra. The Turks who appeared in "FFVII" also show up. Here, they act as a special force under direct orders from Shinra's top management, carrying out information gathering and annihilation against the opposing forces.
- Battles in this game occur on the field with no transition. At the height of action, the player controls Zack while selecting commands. The series of reels in the upper left corner are known as the "Digital Mind Wave", and spin continuously as long as there is SP left to consume. Each rotates independantly, and various effects can be achieved when they stop on matching portraits or values.
Machine gun I believe. At least he had one in Before Crisis and took a sword from a fallen Black AVALANCHE member. Not sure if he kept the sword or not.
Square released the Jump Festa Trailer of FFVII: Crisis Core. More Genesis, more Sephiroth, more Angeal, and some Cloud. And eys, I still hate Zack's and Aeris voice.
