Ok, It was a shock to me when sony said motion sensor would replace rumble. I'v alwas loved rumble it games. But when I think of the new 5:1 sourrond system I come to a conclution that i need a really big sub Like when a explotion happens or something, a sub will make the same experience as a rumble? If its right under my chair

Make your own rumble. When something leaped on me in Resistance I shaked them off.....
I don't know, I normally don't care for rumble because I just play tons of RPG's. Normally they don't have rumble unless it is for some super attack and when that happens you wish it didn't rumble(FF8 GF's).

Yeah in Resistance you shake off aliens that grab onto you. Pretty cool idea I think. I dont think i'll miss rumble much, If I ever feel the need for it I'll by a third party controller to play my PS2 games on
You can actually buy subwoofers for PCs which are attached to the bottom of your swivel chair. Whenever something blows up the bass vibrates through the chair. Try that!

i'm currently getting "de-used" to the rumble. actually I didn't care when I tried RFoM and Motorstorm during a tour through norway where people could try the PS3 and mentioned games. but getting a rumble chair shouldn't be to hard. it has more levels of intensity than PS3 would have anyways so yeah, the motion's worth the lack of rumble, steering in motorstorm was probably my biggest gaming experience ever!
Rumble is only weird when you play games that usually use it. For example, I didnt even notice it when playing resistance, but when I played Socom I was kind of surprised when my controller didnt shake. Im almost use to it already.

no...no console game is ok without rumble...much less the console itself, its age old technology that we have taken for granted...sony better fix whatever mess it is they have, and release a controller with the feature..period
I was playing Katamari Damacy and Steambot Chronicles yesterday. i thought the controller was shaking but it was only the TV screen. I don't even remember rumble anymore since I do turn it off on some games.
oh c'mon guys, what are you a bunch of Sony fanboys!? ...this is the PS3, how can it be "ok" for it to not have such a common feature that has been in it since the PS1 !!??? ...its messed up, admit it..lets hope things get sorted out
Well the PS1 didn't get rumble until half way in it's life cycle. N64 had it before that with Star Fox 64. Why should I care about my controller shaking? I'd rather have a rumble chair then a controller. When I'm shot in the head I doubt my hands are the only things that shake.

maybe you dont care, and even if you rather have a rumble chair..there just is no rumble feature...even if it doesnt bug you, its lame..and i find it funny how people (not reffering to you) nag and complain about little things on other consoles, yet defend sony in all its faults..and this hole "who cares about rumble" thing just goes to show how hung people are on sony..

Maybe they are or maybe they don't give a damn about Rumble. Ever think that?
Maybe I just feel its a step back. Its still a "why"? Obvious reason is the legal problems sony had with another company. Anyway, sony is so screwed now in any way that I cant understand how people there can sleep.

oh yes thats true, ps1/ps2 games on PS3 look terrible..and not all of them are supported either...Sony really blew with PS3, there are so many things wrong with it i just rather not bother..only reason im getting one is FF13, thats it, Sony lost it this time..the best they can do now is fix some fo those problems atleast, and release alot more great exclusive games..MGS4, Devil May Cry, and Final Fantasy aint gonna cut it...

PS is known for having so many RPG's, but really..if you look at the lineup for the 2 systems so far, the 360 has more RPGs than the PS3 (and just plain more exclusives)..and Square is making 2 games for the 360 also, one or both are FF13 games im pretty shure it will be FINAL FANTASY Haeresis XIII..have to wait and see
