Who is getting a Wii this December?

I just saw the first Wii advert in the UK on at 2 am of course because people have better commercials to watch in the day

I know alot of you (many pissed off about the PS3 delay and shortage) are thinking about getting a Wii to replace it or for the mean time so who here is actually getting one? Nintendo seem to be the only ones actually succeeding with a world wide launch. There seems to have been little trouble in the way of it except for some rumours. I would consider buying one but I'm not sure if I could afford a PS3 a few months later too but i would like to play Red Steel and I still havent had a chance to play some Gamecube games (yay backward compatibility).

I havent really been a great fan of nintendo, never owned any of there consoles and in recent years they've been a bit of an underdog but this time i really do hope they pull through. Its an original idea for a good price.

Well you can count me out on getting it, there is no way in hell im getting both consoles for christmas but that doesnt mean im not going to get it later!!

I was originally going to get a wii before the ps3, but things change... maybe i can get it for my brithday (which isnt so bad since my b-day is in Feburary)

I might pick one up if I can find one. Only thing I really want is Zelda and Super Mario RPG on the Virtual Console.

Im thinking about it, but the only game I really want is super smash brothers brawl and Wario: smooth moves. And they don't come out this year.

I'm probably getting one, it's almost inevitable. My mom tried to get a PS3 but couldn't so she wants to make it up to me. My mom actually went to Wal-Mart walked up to the electronics counter and said:

Mom: "Hello, how are you?"
Salesperson: "Good, can I help you with anything?"
Mom: "Yes, can I have a PS3 please?"
