Song Summoner - a SE game for... the iPod?
Oh, Squænix. How long has it been since the atrocious Destiny's Child incident? I still remember it plain as day... And now you take a noble venture into my precious iPod. What are you THINKING, MAN?!
...Apparently, they actually got their heads back on, but they might still be a tad lopsided. I don't know how long it's been out because I've been internetless for over a month (I'm assuming that this game is pretty much old news to those who care) but nonetheless, I launched my browser and loaded up the SE site to find something I hadn't even heard of before - Song Summoner: The Unsung Heroes, made for the current generation of iPods (excluding Touch). It's apparently an SRPG where your warriors are created through music - your music, on your iPod.
Much like EVERY OTHER THING SE HAS DONE WITHIN THE PAST 7 OR SO YEARS, I've heard bounding statements on this game - either it's awesome or it sucks. Or, it's not the best thing in the world, but definitely worth the 5 greenbacks. So, I must ask, what do you guys think of it? That is, if any of you have iPods and have played it. Obviously, I'm gonna go buy it as soon as I can go pick up an iTunes card from the store, but I just wanna hear the opinions of others. Even if you haven't played it, give me something, I'm curious. What do you think about SE even making an iPod game? Personally, I commend them for breaching the market.
