Am I the only one not that excited about XIII? I mean i'm excited, but they haven't show anything to get me really excited. Like i'm excited because of the graphics, art style (reminds me alot of X, which is like my fav. FF), and the promise of new exciting gameplay mechanics. But I just find it hard to really get excited when we know absolutely nothing about the game. Tell me what ya think.
EDIT: Actually I am pretty damn excited, but I wish they would hurry.... haven't been this excited since MGS 4..... which wasn't that long ago...

Well first I think you posted in the wrong section of the forums. Secondly, I think that everyone is excited at least to some degree otherwise they wouldnt be on a Final Fantasy forum scouting for news about it. But yeah, personally I am somewhat excited and Im finding it hard to wait for this upcoming game(s) to come out....

Not the case for me. Looks much more exciting than Versus. Much more reminiscent of Old Nomura than New Nomura who likes black and leather and belts and things that make his weak characters look so amazingly cool.

XII had major problems during development, and Kitase has confirmed that all plans for XIII are on schedule. So even though it's taking a long time for us to get details and such about the game, it's not quite the same case as XII.
I'm personally still very excited about this game, everything about it has impressed me so far. I can't wait to hear more about the battle system, and the characters.

i am more excited for the final fantasy versus XIII, i'm kinda afraid of having big expectations for the the FF XIII and in the end it would like, fail... til now we only have seen the graphics and some of the characters (and both rocks) and only a small part of the history, but it seems soooo cooool ;-;
but i liked the XII (which is great because i didn't like X in the beginning, and i really didn't like X-2. It wasn't so exciting as the others final fantasies) so i think that FFXIII will be awesome XD

Yet she obviously doesnt care about "free Online" because she only wanted one for FF13..and now she doesnt need it...you dont need to give people reasons they have allready considered when making their own decisions, just like no one here is about to recommend purchasing a 360 other than the ones who own one.

lol yea I know but i have a 360 and Ps3, didn't feel like 360 was worth it but thats just me. well i guess im having mixed emotions about xiii, i didnt like xii that much so im a little worried about xiii. and versus looks amazingly awesomely kool

and there's more to the 360 than Halo. geez theres 2 sides to that coin, even youre head's, remember there's tail's.
well i hated FF12 too i thought it was awful in like every way..but FF13 is being done by the people who did the ones i love like 7,8 and 10 so i think we have less to worry about. I think Versus looks really awesome with its dark style, but that game is still too much of a mystery.
I really think Enix is killing off their gamers that'll look farther than the eye-candy, and some of us have realized that, so we've been moving on. If Final Fantasy XIII is a mediocre game we wait a few years for to come out and lasts less than 50-60 hours, I'll give up all hope for the Final Fantasy series.
release for Crisis Core really set me down this path. It was such bullshit. you wait a few years to buy a shitty game with a ripped off battle system that's exactly identical to the boring KH battle system and three times as easy as it is, pay 40 shitting USD for it, and it lasts 18 hours.
Now that's what I call bullshit marketing. Sure the story was nice, but the only significant characters of the game were Angeal, Aerith, and Zack. Maybe Tseng, too. Everyone else was just cannon fodder.
I could've used that 40 USD for an effect pedal for my amp, but noooooooo. this is what happens when you trust in SE to make you a game that isn't a pile of shit and make it worthwhile.
Smry: I'm not exactly anticipating any Fabula Nova Crystallis projects because SE released a game that I had to pay 40 bucks for that was a pile of flaming shit :{D
