Dirge of cerberus sequel lead in?

So that every1 is on the same wave length here i'll explain 1st

Hopefully lots of us have played and beaten Crisis Core:Final Fantasy VII right?

And at least know how Dirge of cerberus takes place after crisis core which comes b4 VII which is b4 advent children.....ANYWAYS now that im done with that partially confusing last part after unlocking the secret ending in dirge of cerberus after beating Crisis Core im thinking there may be yet ANOTHER game to the Final Fantasy trilogy/advent in FF?

Though the secet ending is a direct lead to a sequel, I doubt it. Maybe in a couple years, because Square-Enix is working on XIII and Versus XIII now.

I got that ending playing DoC, and I thought the same, but just like Badskill said itll be quite a while till a sequal comes into works; or IF there is even going to be a sequal

I dunno where you're going with this but you need to get your timeline straight. It confuses the hell outta people.

Before Crisis > Crisis Core > Final Fantasy VII > Advent Children > Dirge of Cerberus.

Advent Children is 2 years after VII, Dirge is 3 (1 year after AC).

I hope they will make a new game 'bout Genesis. He is my favorite character (^^)
If they do that, it will be the fifth game that is related to VII

well, the story is about to continue. By the way, character Weiss had an appearence in FF7:crisis core, so he doesnt seem like a trash character. Genesis says that they both have a job to do.
So, Final fantasy 7 people, get ready to be saved from the world's end once again, imo

They said that SE is going to announce something huge that'll shock the fans at the SE party.. they said it was something related to Final Fantasy VII

Aside from ACComplete.
So there might as well be a DoC sequal I just hope they do their best on it.

well i asume the next game (if their is one) wont be as bad as DOC was, they will probobly do somthing differnt that they havn't done with ffvii yet.

i have my timeline fine my friend and where the hell im going with this is the point u seem to missed, will there be a sequel to DOC and not the stupid Lost E that ahs nothing to do with genesis so yea

Which ain't right, dear. Although I think it's just the way you wrote it that makes it sound that way, you probably do know what it really is.

And off that subject...

I definetely think there'll be something to do with Genesis, but it wouldn't necessarily be a sequel to DoC, just another FFVII game/thing. Really do hope they expand on Genesis though.

It's mostly BC -> CC -> FFVII -> AC -> DoC

There MUST be a new game, DoC II or not,
Genesis speaking: Our fight isn't over yet Brother.

If they'd leave it at just that, many will be pissed.
Because if they did that DoC's Secret Ending had no reason to exist.

I liked DOC, but I rather not go over the same gameplay. And seeing Weiss and Genesis trying to screw everyone over would be neat...as long as it doesn't go back to gaia since I rather see something new.

If there is going to be another game I do not wish for it to be a Shooter.
Final Fantasy should stick to being the Role playing Game that we love.

Nero was with Weiss when they picked up Genesis too. If there's a sequel Weiss better still be alive (fav villian in FFVII series). They should also give sequel a similar battle system from FFXIII.

yea, what'd i'd really like to see in the compilation since they said it would span 20 years, is a full-out complete game sequel to everything that's happened in the FFVII saga thus far...AC was supposed to play that role for FFVII but only pretty much closed the Cloud/ Sephiroth/ Aerith arc...now that we have more background with Genesis from CC and his role in the background through Weiss in DC, he would make a perfect villain aside from other things. would Cloud and co. play a role? sure, but if they decided to expand, what'd be cool is to have a new roster playable like Denzel, Marlene and Shelke. that'd be cool. and like, Vincent can be the Auron-type character since he doesn't age. just a couple thoughts...

ADDITION: and of course the remake! i'd like to see the death aerith play out bloodier than crisis core's end.

Those are some well thought up ideas. And as for new playable characters, i'd really like for it to include Shelke. Shelke's pretty cute and interesting to observe in battle.
