Will you Import Final Fantasy XIII?

Now it's been confirmed that Final Fantasy XIII will be coming out in Japan first (exclusively on PS3), you know Square-Enix will take forever with localizing. So, like every Final Fantasy we have the choice of importing. Play-Asia is dead to us now since they're scared of Sony but there are other ways.

So will you import it before the US and European release dates?

Well S-E said the were making the localisation faster this time, so hopefully it won't take forever. I usually import the US version since I don't see the point of importing the Japanese version if I can't understand it, no matter how much I want to play it. But this time the UK version is coming the same time as the US version so I don't have to import =]

Possibly, if I have a PS3 by then. I can't help but want to, given the inability for Square Enix to hire a decent voice cast.

No, I dont know japanese. If I play it I will miss out on alot and it will just be one big spoiler for English version when it comes ou.

I don't know. I remember having cum all over my face whenever the FFXII voicecast spoke. Very similar experience with Kingdom Hearts as well.

To be honest, I found neither FFXII nor Kingdom Hearts to be anything special.

Although, I think I had a bias against XII. I hate Kari Wahlgren with a passion. :3

I can read Japanese (i am much better in Katakana) but i will not be importing it i'll just wait as after all i am better in English than Japanese plus i would just rather play it in my native laguage who cares if it comes out later i mean i've waited all this time whats a little longer anyway.

I may consider importing from JP just to see what FFXIII is like before it arrives on the US market.

If I knew enough japanese to read a little, I would import it, or if I was desperate for it, but I am not that desperate, nor excited right now.

My friend knows Japanese, so no trouble here. I need that gameplay and I will buy an import...unless a demo is released shortly after. XIII!
