The PS3 (and probably 360, for that matter) probably has at least 6 or 7 more years of life to go. Probably more because software updates have finally been implemented in consoles as a staple, meaning now some hardware issues can be easier dealt with down the line. This is why I still firmly believe we'll see FF14 and 15 (assuming that they'll be made - and WHY THE HELL WOULDN'T THEY BE) on the PS3 as well, keeping with the "three-per-console" trend they've so steadily upheld since now.
