% of Square Enix

A French site claims they have some information of progress of different game titles from Square-Enix. It comes from a Japanese magazine called Otona Fami. Good thing we now know how far they are.

• Final Fantasy XIII (PlayStation 3): 13%
• Final Fantasy Versus XIII (PlayStation 3): 1.3%
• Itadaki Street DS (Nintendo DS): 50%
• Final Fantasy XII Ghost Wings (Nintendo DS): 40%
• Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix (PlayStation 2): 130% (2 games. KH2 + KH:CoM remix)

They got a good start with FFXIII, but poor Versus still lacks 98.7% of the game.

I can’t tell how true it is, but it seems plausible. Now, with the finishing touch of English FFXII, we should be able to see some speed in the progress. Now I can slightly understand Square-Enix for the lack of versus trailer. (but I will not forgive them!)

These figures seem really wrong to me. Well not all of them but in particular; FFXIII. As it has been said that FFXIII is very close to completion. But as soon as I saw 13% I wondered where they were getting their information from. Anyone else agree?

I agree completely, the last I heard, FFXIII was at 80 something % completion, and now they're only saying 13%??

Sounds right. A big company like Square can't "make up" the game during the making. Every part of the story, items, summons, stats, skills, designs and so on should be done before any programming.

Edit: Eh, Final fantasy XIII = FF 13 = 13% and 1,3% ?? I think someone is making fun of us!?
