I pre-ordered my copy of 13 on amazon a while ago. I got this email at 2:09 EST, its likely speculation on their part, but I imagine any news is good news since we've not heard anything new for months.

changing based on information we receive directly from our suppliers. Occasionally,
unexpected fluctuations in supply or changes in release dates for new products will
add time to our original availability estimate.

It is interesting that they mention the publisher changing the date this time. They could just be saying it's Square-Enix but maybe they have been given a vague date such as 2009. Still, let's wait to see if anywhere else changes their dates,
So only after the release date does an announcement/change of release date "matter"? I smell poor logic. I understand that it's gonna be changed over and over again until it's finally out, but "fuck you man" isn't the correct response.
Ah, i didn't realize. I'd never gotten mail from amazon like this though, and I've had the game ordered since it went up on the site. Im just surprised that they can get away with saying that the publisher changed the release date if that isn't the case. Please note that they did say that their previous date (that was listed when I first ordered it) was an "estimation".

I don't think i said such word's.
SOMEBODY'S STIRRING.
The only logic there is we can all mostly agree with is that it will be released someday. It'll be released eventually.
