I think this game will turnt out another SE xbox 360´s game failure.
Yeah, its gonna fail hard. They should at least port it onto the playstation 3 because all the ''everything japan'' fanatics and rpg fans are playing playstion and nintendo products, not the 360. All The 360 fans want is halo wars and gear... they are aiming for the wrong group all together. With so many smart and talented people working and SE, why have they not come to this conclusion.

I think SE thinks that they are so great that they can change the rpg market. :X

haha I think your right, they do have this feeling of arrogance to them like they are the best and because of this they can put out any kind of shit nowadays because they have nothing else to prove and people will buy it. But guess what SE, people are starting to wake up, you better do the same before your company goes bankrupt
Nah, the only thing they are doing to change the genre/industry is making it worse. They are the role model of other rpg making companies and they are setting such a low bar, something needs to happen fast to save them or they wont be here for much longer.
Man bossess in this game are becoming EVIL. Has anyone done the 8 stage fight on planet Aeos yet? HOLY CRAP. I did it on one try, but I almost wiped a few times. If this was S03 with the item recast, I would have died. Lol.
The last guy on the previous planet was a pain as well, but I also defeated him first try.
(I guess this is a good thing, because I found all previous bossess to be easy as crap)
BTW I hope George Lucas doesn't see the cutscene after or SE and him are going to be having some problems. Lol.
I knowww. Took me 2 times to beat all of them. 1st time I managed to beat them w/one person standing and I had to turn off the game so I considered it a loss. So on my 2nd attempt I synthesized my weapons and armor like crazy and ended up beating them without dying. By the way i'm basically done on En II and i'm headed towards Now Obscurous. A lot of things about the REAL plot of the story will be told once you reach En II. Also, En II/Centropolis looks pretty beautiful.
I am very dissapointed by the Item Creation in this game though I must say. I haven't created any real items yet because the materials take ridicoulous amounts of time to gather. I wish it was like S03 where you spent money to make the recipe...and you just bought them out of the store. But Welch is funny as balls!
Comparison for me so far between 3 and 4
Story: 4
Plot Twister 3 (Haven't seen it yet in 4, so may change)
Item Creation: 3
Battle Trophies: 3
Battle System: 4
Characters you care about: 4
Music: 3&4
Boss Difficulty: 4
Puzzles: 3
Yeah, the only thing that I didn't like about item creation is that it was difficult finding the materials necessary to create an item even though you could make tons of recipes for them.
-So has anyone gotten to fight against Gabriel Celeste yet? I LOVE the version The Incarnation of Devil played in this one. Also they brought back his lightning abilities too. Now he's basically a newer version of the Gabriel Celeste from SO3 wi. I'm level 133/4 and he's REALLY tough. Has anyone beaten him yet (and perhaps Ethereal Queen as well)?
Well if it is true then woot for PS3 owners. You guys will not have to go through the retarded and bulshit disk swapping like 360 owners do!
Seriously it is annoying to swap a disk to go to certain areas of the game.
Quick question, did you install SO4 onto your hard drive? (360 obviously) cuz 2 of my co workers installed it and it kept freezing. Did you have that problem?
Anyways I'm kinda happy it's going multi plat, I read an interview on the producer guy (forgot his name) and he mentioned the possibilites of SO4 coming to PS3.

this seems like a dead thread but i'm gon give it a try anyway..
I'm thinking about buying this game since its now released in europe (finally) but i have a few questions:
Story, compared to LO what grade would you give it?
Gameplay, how fun and addictive is it? Any chanse i'll want to play this game a second round?
VoiceActors (i allready know its bad) can one overlook the bad VA? Compared to FFX
Or should I just wait for ToV? even though i'm not so into anime looking games.. and dont tell me to rent it first because i cant, they ripp you of over here
