Post counts in spam?

It's even right now. I voted for "Don't care". It's quite nice to get a small bonus for posting but I wouldn't care if it is gone.

I say yes. If people feel that its a wast to post since they dont get postcounts, they wont post at all.

Okay we will keep the Off Topic sections Post count turned on. I think its for the best too for the same reason as GHenrik's.

Spam sections all over Forums are fairly popular themselves. I've yet to come across a Forum which has post counts in spam.

People just like to post random crap most of the time for humour and light fun without having to worry about being serious. Which is why spam sections are quite popular places to lurk.

This place is still fairly small (member wise) but as soon as more start joining, we're going to have the most useless/crappiest threads in here, you'll see the post-counts go zoooooooom.

But yanno, I'm just ranting here now. xD

Yea, you raise some good points. Because its turned off of course doesnt necessarily mean people will think its pointless, its just a random place to chat about anything really. The site is pretty small atm though so it doesnt really require it to be turned off yet. When we get alot more members it probably will be disabled.

Yeah, it doesnt mean people wont bother but people seem to love postcounts so it might make more people post there if they can get away with one word replies for a post.
