As you prepare for college, ever notice that you take college level classes? I've been taking them for 2 years in a row now, last year it was a piece of cake.
This year? Literally kicked my ass. Physics, which I hoped like Chemistry (I came in high a few times and walked out with a 90 on a test) would be easy, first test studied my ass off, 70 even on the test. First English test? 65. Reading quiz? After cheating, an 80...otherwise it'd be a 40. Which is what I got on today's quiz. The only easy class is Government/History, because we're surrounded by it, but recently we've been zooming in that too.
You think I should 'buckle down and study more' or what? Because if I don't do well in Physics, at the least...English I can make up stories in, but Physics is absolute. Either you get it right or you don't, in English, you can just BS an opinion and whatnot. "yea lol michael furey died n gretta wuz sad and gabriel saw that she was and dat = ephifone" (For those who did not have to read James Joyce's works, that's Dubliners.

Well, we are all different people. I'm opposite, I think classes like math and physics are easy since it's only one answer. Its no "BS" around the answer. You can’t get a good grade when there is no answer. You get a top grade in that sort of stuff if you are the child of teacher, but otherwise you can forget it.
But if there is a solid answer and you get it all correct the teacher have to give you top grade. If its just to read and remember instead of waiting on a test and then write the BS.
(but I go for guts in the test, and it works for me hardly ever read, norwegian schoolsystem is too easy)

I think I really should focus more. Class ranks come out, and you know it's a punch in the nuts when you read yours...unless you're top 50. I should get mine.
If mine is under 150/366, I will stay. If it is closer to 366, I'm out.
You get class ranks? That sounds really harsh! I'm pretty sure we dont get them here. Wouldnt do anyone with low self-esteem any good. Right now at school i'm in sixth form and the first year was relitavly easy but this year...well it isnt much harder but the subjects are soo much more boring.
I know what you mean about making up opinions in some exams. At GCSE I got B's in all the subjects you can make stuff up in like History, English, RPSE with little revision I'm glad i'm not taking maths anymore...that would be hell.
EDIT: Also talking about school can everyone refrain from using swear word in post topics because then my school blocks the whole forum if its the latest post

My mother is a music teacher and my father used to teach math, psychics and computer before he moved away. I don't get good grades because of my parents, I actually listen in the class and I never ever cheated in a test (unlike most of my classmates ...).

No - I don't get any help, because my mother said she will treat me like any other student and my father is dead. I don't think mom would have let him help me in school either but I heard he was a good teacher.
And I Do get good grades(NO CHEATS, honestly!), but sometimes I wonder how...
