hey people I was playing DMC 2 and i was thinking, what if Versus XIII will have a two disc set with two different storys. disc one will have the versus guys story and the other will have the skirt girls point of view just like DMC 2 had, because they basically have the same type of powers. so what does anyone else think about this. I would personally love it.

I can see what you mean by this, you're thinking along the lines of Resident Evil 2, where they had a Leon and Claire disc. I'd say it's an interesting idea, but with what I've seen so far they'll focus on the prince probably since they've spent so much time already in development but still have to redesign the prince's outfit.
I think it could happen, but it might make things harder to follow.

I'd say it will probably only be one point of view, however it may be possible that the story does get split up at times and possibly told from this mysterious girl's point of view.
I'd say that's as much as we'll get though, pov wise.
Now I'm starting to think that it might focus on his side and the villians side like what did with FFXII with the rebelions point of view and the empires point of view.

----Square always shows the other side of the story with cutscenes. Always a glimpse. Besides, it always clarifies the stories. It was pretty common in Kingdom Hearts and considering that it's the KH team working with Versus XIII, we can expect a lot of that.

All right, maybe you are right.But if SE could make the game suitable for two or more persons to play at the same time,one plays as the king and the others play as the shikt girl and the man with golden fair and so on,i will prefer such a game to the two disc set with two different storys.

A mulitplayer mode to the game would be pretty interesting if you think about it.
But like you said it makes more sence than a two disc with different stroies.
Well multiple viewpoints is possible, example Suikoden III, you play as three different characters seeing the same situation from different viewpoints. It was quite effective actually.
