I am not asking if there is one because obviously none of use know the answer to that. The reason I made this thread is do you think it would be a good idea to create a collector's edition which will include both FF XIII and FF XIII: Versus and maybe a few extras? I personally think that would be pretty nice. What do you think?
I thought they will probably make it two separated Collector's Editions. But that doesn't sound too bad, just a little too expensive (it would probably cost something close to US$200,00?)
Separate Collectors edition would be preferable. (For me anyway)
As for the few extras i wouldn't mind having some added bonus' or some added extras on the BluRay, I'm sure they have enough space to cram some extra goodies on the Disc.
As for the combined collectors edition you suggested, i wouldn't mind it, if it was a cheaper way to buy both games, then i would most likely consider it.
I think it's a great idea! Although what I think is more likely is that they will release the games as seperate entities, then do special editions of each one, AND THEN combine them in a double pack type thing which will save you a tenner.It's all about the money x
T-shirt, map of the town, and poster with pretty nice art book- that's the simple compilation of collector's editions
A poster and an art book would make me pretty darn happy. I could do without a T-shirt, though. XD For some reason, I can't think of SE making T-shirts to go in a collector's edition...
I think I would like seperate collectors' editions, mostly because I would go crazy trying to wait for them to get it together for an edition including both games, and also just because for some reason, I'd like to buy the games seperately. I feel like they're trying to market them as seperate games, and putting them in a pack together might make me feel like they weren't. >__>; I want to play them seperately and enjoy them seperately~
I'm sure there'll be a CE. Square knows the fanboys would buy it.
Hey! Don't forget the fangirls. >_____> I regularly buy CEs of series I love, at least when they come out at the same time as the normal version. If the normal comes out much earlier than the CE, or without a CE being announced, I usually end up with the normal, though. ._.;
I don't know if a Collectors edition double pack would work as well with more games in the Fabula Nova series still coming out. Maybe they could do a big Compilation pack with both FFXIII and FFVII when the Compilations are completely finished.
I'm not a huge fan of Collectors editions in the sense, that I would prefer to be able to buy whatever extra's they include seperatly if I choose to later on. Personally, I would love to see a translated verison of the Ultimania guides sold with the game.
It's probably a good idea, but I don't think they'll put Agito into the pack because you'll probably just be downloading the game from the internet on your cell phone. But I'd only buy it if they put in goodies along with the walkthrough!
