Some say the wielder would bring great happiness, others say destruction. So what is really this damn key blade?
Well so far all we know is that the Keyblade chooses its wielder. There are a lot of characteristics that a person would need to have to be able to wield one, but the most important one is a strong heart. The reason why only people with a strong heart are able to wield a keyblade, is because they are less likely to give into darkness,….unless they choose to… that’s the problem.. Choice! Being light or Dark?? What supports this theory is non other then Riku him self… he is the true keyblade master has he uses the darkness in his heart to his advantage, not many people with strong hearts could do so, making him Dawn, since that is the path he chose at the cross roads.
In KH1 Riku was meant to have the keyblade, has he is the original keyblade master, but because he gave his heart to darkness, the key passed on to Sora. In game facts look at this event as fate, not destiny. “Check Riku’s profile in KH1 Jiminy diary”
IN kh2 Final mix, one thing that is important that should be noted is Terra, when talking to Sora, says “your not the one I chose” so things didn’t go quite right, another fact is Riku giving a Keyblade to Kairi, there’s more story there to be told to.
So key blade wielders are meant to protect the worlds, but if a strong hearted person chose to do otherwise… I guess you know the rest of that story.
My biggest mystery is Kingdom Hearts it self… in both games it is looked at differently, KH1 Ansem thinks it would lead him to ever lasting Darkness, while Xemnas thinks he could regain back his heart, and maybe his lost “memories”.
We know a keyblade plays a big part in it… hmm
Sorry for long post guys,,, KHs is so damn complex, I could keep on writing.. and sorry if at some point it does not make sence lol
As far as Kingdom Hearts goes I think it has the it the abilities to do those things but also any very strong feeling that lies in someones heart. I think it would either help them do what they desire or give them the means to.
Keyblades are almost like part of a person. The keyblade and its master are one. The reason they need strong hearts is because the keyblades are dependent on the capabilities of their master.
ok the keyblade is what connects all worlds and all hearts... good or bad, it sort of reacts to stuff durring the game signaling Sora to something, and is unick to its master... but having a strong heart is what counts, cause thats why Riku maneges to take the keyblade off Sora in KH1, when you 1st arrive at Hollow Bastion.
Although that is definitely a reason he was able to do this, I also think it was because he was originally supposed to have it. But as we know the strength of ones heart over powers that, seen when Sora took the Keyblade back from Riku.

Terra said that to Sora because Riku is the real chosen
one of the Keyblade o.o .....
so its kinda confusing and some obvious that Terra chose Riku , Ven chose Sora
and Aqua chose Kairi , maybe (?)
