All of us know that FFXIII appeared once in E3 2006 and that was it's first appearance for the world. FFXIII wasn't included among the participated titles in E3 2007. We already heard about Jump Festa 2008, but it was in Closed Mega Theater. There is no event for SE after JF2008 through these months " March, April, May , June ...." except Feb for GDC and all of us know that SE party doesn't held annualy.
If FFXIII will make an appearance in E3 2008 , Is it going to be in Closed Mega Theater ?? or it just will be as a gift for the world like E3 2006??
I would say it depends how close SE is to finishing/releasing the game. If they've slated a (very) late 2008 release or a 2009 one, they could very well actually show us something as part of the game's promotion for non-FF regulars/sem-regulars who may have forgotten about the game, etc.
If they don't intend to release the game relatively soon, I'd say they'd probably take the same tack they have in previous years and keep it very secretive.
E3 would be the perfect place to make some big announcements though.

i Think they may show FF13, but not Versus.. something tells me they gona releace both games like halth a year away from eachother.. plus it feels like they have been working on FF13 longer than versus.. i just wish they gave us a date, any date so we know just about how damn long we have to wait.
Square-Enix's presence at this years downsized E3 is much lower than their previous years attending. They're even recycling last years booth design thanks to the smaller show. According to John Yamamoto, Square-Enix's European and North American CEO in an interview with Gameindustry, they're saving their big announcements until the Tokyo Game Show in September. It doesn't seem to likely we're getting anything but what's on their existing lineup this year.
It would be great if they turned up but I think the only way the games will is if they appears on Square-Enix's E3 lineup. I doubt they're going to try and surprise us. :/

We probably wont get anything new. If we do, it'll most likely all be in that retarded "Closed Mega Theater" thing...
I think they need to give a new trailer or at least the most recent to the public and they should definitely show more gameplay of FFXIII and in general for FFVXIII.

Yeah we all would. But honestly Square has us right where they want us. We don't care if we get little info. They know we are hooked anyway and most of us don't need a lot of updates to stay interested. But it would be nice and considerate. SQUARE ISN'T SHARING I AM TELLING!!!!!!

However if they want to expand their market beyond gamers who are either FFreaks or just people who have stumbled across FNC on the internet then they need more information + promotion. However, as I said earlier, when this will happen depends on when they intend to release it.
Well I am sure that word of mouth will help to carry these titles Whiplash, I have shown 4 friends (who I might add are XBOX 360 fanboys!) And they were saying they would love to have a PS3 to play it. Seems there may be some conversion going on in england thanks to meeehhh! lol All I did was show them the trailers and they were amazed by it.

well E3 was the venue to first announce the ff13 games-E3 is about 7 months away its enough for square to accumulate info to release to the public.Square really cant lie dormant for a long time can they?
