Gemaga Preview: New Final Fantasy Versus XIII Character Details

The new issue of Gemaga magazine is coming out on the 30th January in Japan and it has even more details on Final Fantasy XIII and Versus. Nomura is also going to comment in the article too.

Some details on the Versus characters from the article have been revealed early.

The symbols which appear behind the protagonist and girl (seen here) are supposed to be involved in the battle system as well as the plot of the game.
The relationship between the main character and the girl has something to do with the Shakespeare quote shown in the E3 2006 trailer ("There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so.")

Well... if some character details have already been revealed does that mean someone must have that copy. Correct me if im wrong, its January 29th now in the UK so wont it be January 30th in Japan sometime today? Eagerly awaiting more news, STOPS PRODUCTION OF FNC 3 incase new details come haha.

The magazine hasn't been released yet. At this particular moment in time, depending on where you are in Japan, its either 12.30 am or 1.30 am on January 30th, so the magazine should obviously go on sale sometime in the next few hours. Hopefully we will get some form of update that makes us jump for joy!

I actually dont understand why they are being this secretive in regards to names? When FF12 was in production, I remember they released a character with their name at the same time. For gods sake, they released wallpapers for them aswell lol!

Didn't they say something last year about showing us the finalised design and information early this year. From the new scans I can presume that's the finished design -- but I wonder when we'll get the information.
