I don't think i ever came across anyone from SE saying there was a 2008 release date (except for demo) reading the translations (mainly blankchobobo's).
Did that person even read the title of the article? I don't know where to start with where this guy went wrong XD.
It's Toriyama talking, not Nomura. He also says nothing about a potential release date.
He never said it would be released on the Playstation Network.
What revamped battle system? We've barely seen the current battle system.
Anyway to sum it all up, this guy should be shot.
*nods* I agree, I haven't heard any of this >_> Just that Toriyama WANTS to have a demo out sometime. I didn't even read anywhere that he'd get the demo out by the end of the year. That was just Famitsuu saying by the end of the year. Maybe that's what Toriyama meant, and maybe it wasn't. >__>;
I wish that were true but sadly that just couldn't be possible.... although they showed us these games 2 years ago, Japan probably will be lucky to see a release this year.

They haven't released an exact official date, but according to Joystiq, Tetsuya Nomura has said the "long wait for the Fabula Nova Crystallis collection will be over soon enough," and he even hinted at the possibility of a playable demo hitting the PlayStation Store!

psyche, it wasn't me, but look at it this way: We get to be amused and use "waffelz" and "luffing mah arse uff" at morons who somehow interpretted things wrong and TURNED NOMURA INTO YOSHIMITSU FROM TEKKE...er, I mean Toriyama sorry.
2008 will be the year we see FFXIII....i promise you.....
...it'll only be a couple more trailers though. If we're really really good boys and girls they might get a demo out to us in time for christmas, packaged with a game we dont really want to buy but will just for the demo.
