What's The Connection between Genesis and Sephiroth?
this is a weird thing because i just realize that both of them have almost the same outfit (FOCUS ON GENESIS AND SEPHIROTH). and also that in the cutscene between G and S, they practically are evenly matched (hope there are no spoilers for anyone!)
anyway, i learned that in the game, hojo made 5 clones of the real sephiroth before he died. (1 in CC, 1 in FFVII, and the last 3 in FFVII:AC) and i heard a rumor that G was the original S. i dont know exactly but thats what i heard.

That is completely false. Once a SOLDIER reaches first class, they are allowed to customize their outfits. Genesis and Sephiroth look nothing alike. Also, Genesis and Sephiroth were created from two different projects. But, you could call Genesis the prototype of Sephiroth. There were hundreds of Sephiroth clones in FFVII, but they were not "clones" by definition, they were just injected with Jenova cells. And the three villains in Advent Children were spawned by Sephiroth's will, before he dissolved into the lifestream at the end of the original game. Please check your sources.

I agree with Kazu, Sephiroth and Genesis where two different projects, which...well um Genisis concluded with saying 'Project G'.

Your right on the buddies thing...Genesis leaves due to *plot spoiler* and convinces Angeal that he is a *plot spoiler*, resulting in Angeal's departure. IT'S SUCH A GOOD GAME!!! %)

hojo and lucrecia are sephiroths parents, i don't think that lucrecia wanted to do the tests on her baby but she allowed hojo to anyway. In dirge of cerberus vincent was trying to convence lucrecia to not do the tests and stuff but she didn't listen as you all can tell.
